not all that

Stopped in for the nigh on our cross-country trip. The room was clean but beds were old and internet only worked in certain parts of the room. We would not stay there again. We got their later and the crib we requested was given away.

Everything was as you would expect a chain hotel like this to be. Clean room, basic amenities, friendly staff, continental breakfast. It was very good value.

Extended weekend

Easy check in, & Out. Friendly & helpful staff The room was clean when we checked in but had trouble getting the cleaning lady to clean during the stay. Maintenance was on top of any problem that came up. The office people were helpful with getting Wi-Fi. Close to shopping, restaurants, main streets, without the noise.

Inexpensive but Unimpressive

Stayed two nights at this hotel with a few friends. Seemed there were a few mixed reviews on this site but some mentioned recent upgrades so we took a chance on the bargain rate we got. I'm not the type of person to complain to management about aesthetic issues, but by the end of the weekend I was embarrassed that I hadn't asked for a different room for us. Carpet was heavily stained and grimy-looking, though it was well-vacuumed. The shower and bath were in dire need of new caulking, and the old cracked acrylic caulk was harboring mildew. Nasty rust streaks in the toilet bowl as well. Not sure if this is just an Omaha water issue or if it's their pipes specifically, but we all had extremely dry skin after using the showers and washing our hands a few times, even when using our own soap. We were not able to use the wifi connection the first night of stay...when we had trouble accessing the internet from our laptops we contacted the front desk a few times, and the woman there tried resetting the router but sounded irritated about being bothered. Finally tried to use the IT helpdesk phone number that was provided and spent about an hour with two separate operators trying to get it fixed with them. After the second time a representative told us they were going to call another department for an access code and permission to reset somethingoranother and then call me back, I finally told her we couldn't stick around any longer-- we had plans for the weekend OUTSIDE of the hotel, after all! Got back to the hotel room at about 2 am and the connection miraculously worked. Staff was about 50/50 on helpfulness and pleasant demeanor-- one front desk receptionist would genuinely look like she wanted you to have a good day as she said it, while another made you feel like you were inconveniencing her for even being there. Housekeeping kept their carts right in the middle of the hallways so you had to try and squeeze by. When one maid came by to check on our room and we were still packing up, I told her we'd be checking out right at noon and my friends heard her from the other side of the door as she yelled to her coworker about how we were going to make them late to get off of work. Good things: Nice new flatscreen TV (which none of us watch, but I'm sure others will appreciate them), decent variety in the continental breakfast, relatively comfortable beds, great access to several interstates, quiet. Bad things: I'm sure $60/night could get your family a cleaner environment with better customer service at a different hotel. I'm glad that we literally just used our hotel room for sleep and bag storage. If we'd stayed there for any length of (conscious) time, I'd have asked for a different room or a partial refund.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Some mentioned having a hard time finding the hotel. It's right off of L Street, a main street that you get to from I-680. You'll see the sign for the hotel just before you get to the street you turn on. Travel Inn has a more distinctive sign that's easier to see, and they share a parking lot.

GOOD LOCATION AND CLOSE TO NEEDED FACILITIES

we have stayed at this location several times while the wife was in the hospital and there for routine checkups--we do like the location and there could be some things that would make it better--i e--i think it is time for some of the rooms to be repainted.

Basic, Clean Rooms

This hotel was a pet friendly hotel, which is fine, very convienent to shopping, bathroom was small, but always kept clean, beds were very comfortable. The only thing negative I can say about the Hotel, is that it needs updating. The Staff was friendly, all in all, it was good

Try Cascio's Italian Restaurant, It is an older Italian Restaurant that was established in 1947, was very good, I loved the Spumoni Ice Cream. And the prices were reasonable
