Quick Stay for Basketball Game
Very good experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful, room very clean, free hot breakfast good, and location is convenient (quick walks) for downtown sporting events. Pillows (down) were flimsy for me, but that's a matter of taste. I also noted the lack of bathroom fan. Pretty minor points though. All in all highly recommended.

Short drive from hotel
I like to go across the river to Council Bluffs, IA for shopping and restuarants in order to get out of the downtown area and to where there are cheaper places to eat with easy parking.

nice place for first time visit
I have never been to Omaha and this hotel was very convient and helpful. They have a shuttle service which will take you up to four miles from the hotel which is perfect if you are going to the local areas. Downtown was very close and easy to access as well as the near by craigton university. The staff was very helpful with accomidating my needs and request and any questions I had about the local area they were more than happy to answer. Rooms were well kept, clean, and had a modern look to them. If I travel back to omaha anytime soon I will be more than happy to stay at the Hamtin inn and suites again.

Best location with reasonable price
I recently stayed at this hotel for a night after an awesome concert at tie TD Ameritrade Park, which was right across the street. 30 second walking distance from the host of the College World Series and numerous shows, concerts, and other attractions. With a restaurant /bar a block or two away, its in excellent location to walk. Rooms weren't completely clean, but still good service and reasonable pricing.

Wonderful Stay
The hotel is located right across the street from the TD Ameritrade ballpark. This is a perfect location to stay if you plan on spending a lot of time in the Old Market. It's just don the street! A 1-2 minute drive and about a 15min walk. The rooms was clean and the maid cleaned and restocked everything every night i was there. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast had a fair variety of food.

If you plan on eating at local restaurants I advise hitting Wheatfields for breakfast or sunday brunch and avoid the Blue Lake sushi joint.. not a good idea to get sushi in the midwest.
