Always Looking for a Good Deal
Birthday Weekend Celebration
It was my husband's birthday weekend and we wanted a hotel close to downtown Omaha so we could walk around. The location is great but as the night went on, it seemed like the hotel was more of a frat house than an expensive hotel. We stayed on the couch in the suite and we didn't get any sleep because other people staying in the hotel were up all night, opening and closing doors. I felt like I was in college again.

One night getaway
Due to staying on a Sunday night, the hotel was not as busy. However the service by the staff was no different, as they took care of us as if the hotel was full. Great evening reception for the guests and the breakfast buffet was fabulous. The swimming pool/hot tub/sauna were all great as well.

The Henry Doorly Zoo is just a short drive away and is a fantastic place to take children of all ages. It is a great zoo!

nice place, nice location
I was staying some place else (Redick Plaza, on the other side of the Old Market...avoid) and switched to the Embassy Suites, and was so glad I did. It was well worth the extra money. Location near Old Market is a huge plus. And the property itself is very nice. The fitness center was particularly good, and the breakfast was pretty good.

There's a really fun Cajun place on the far side of the Old Market that I really liked, called Jazz, I think. Very cheap and fun, if you like a loud party atmosphere and sports on the TV no matter which was you look. Food was excellent. Best Cajun food I've had outside of New Orleans (and Chicago, which is a little known location for great Cajun food, thanks to Heaven on Seven).

Really great location
Very convenient location from Old Market shopping and dining. Just a short walk. Parking was easy and close. Check in/out was quick. Great breakfast made to order. Rooms were quiet and clean.

Old Market Omaha
[...] It is beautiful with elaborate koi pond / indoor river flowing through the main floor.The hot breakfast (included in room rate) is made to order, full scale, with waffles, pancakes and delicious omelettes with your choice of filling, plus full options of hot/cold items at a breakfast bar. Room service quick, full hot meal delivered within 15 minutes of ordering. A manager's reception (also included in room rate) is held every night from 530-730pm with full bar. Excellent fitness center with several cardio options as well as free weights. I went to Omaha for a business trip and i will definitely stay here again for any future trips.

this hotel is conveniently located in the Old Market area which has abundant eateries from varied cultures, organic groceries, beauty spas and entertainment (bars, theater (live theater, not movies), pool hall, ice cream, etc.) just steps away. The hotel also offers free shuttle service up to 3 miles away.

A great treat for the kids and I
The price was great for the great room I had. I wish I had a bathtub though. It was at a great location and plan to go there again soon. There was some noise from some that had too much to drink but otherwise I was comfortable and felt safe. This beats all the hotels i've been to. Thank you.

Old market was great to have right across the street with shopping and live entertainment. Then the next day we had a short drive to the Henry Doorly Zoo.
