Cheap place to rest your head
You get what you pay for with this option in North Platte, which we chose as our overnight town between Dubuque and Colorado Springs. Right off the highway and easy to get to. The hotel was in a remodeling phase at the time of our stay. The room was small, with just enough room for the queen bed, an old CRT television, a chair, and not much else. No laundry bag for putting our used clothes, and the bathroom is cramped as well. However, the continental breakfast featured a waffle iron, so we had a nice hot breakfast with apple juice and muffins to start our next day's journey.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
Avoid the Conoco gas station adjacent to the hotel. Many of their pumps' credit card swipes were non functional, and the one that I did use had no receipt paper. Also, all but one of the windshield washer buckets were bone dry. Very poorly kept station with unfriendly service. The "Welcome to Nowhere" sign hanging over their front door says it all.

Wouldn't Go Back
We had a two night stay for a wedding. We checked into our no smoking room on Friday. The halls were so smoky it defeated the purpose of a no smoking room. We could not regulate the temperature in the room--we either froze or the carpet was wet from the humidity. It also was extremely noisy--we could hear every footstep in the hall and every flush of the toilet. We left for the wedding at noon on Saturday--checked with the front desk to make sure our room would still be cleaned. Needless to say, it wasn't cleaned when we got back to our room at midnight! I called the front desk and they offered to move us to another room--obviously we weren't interested in doing that! She left a note for the morning manager. I spoke with Asha in the morning and she totally copped an attitude with me--basically calling me a liar! She said there was nothing they were going to do because it was prepaid and then proceeded to gossip about me with the other employees. Great customer service--NOT!! We will NEVER go back!!

Quick Overnight
Just passing through town and needed a shower and bed. The motel has two buildings. I was in the annex so I did not explore the entire motel. I did not see the complimentary breakfast. The motel is close to fuel and restaurants and just south of I-80 but far enough away that you do not hear the traffic. The A/C was on in the room when I got there which was good. The room was basic and clean. The bed was comfortable. And even though I was the first room up the stairs in a fairly full motel, I did not hear my neighbors. The carpet was dated and needed replacement. There was a smell around the vending area. ATT cell service was terrible. Wireless internet was good.

A place to rest after a long drive
We stayed there while traveling to our summer vacation destination. The rooms were clean. The staff friendly and helpful. The parking area was too small. We had to park on the street. The breakfast area was very small (much smaller than what it looks like in the pictures). The breakfast food selection was limited. I would recommend expanding the food selection. It was an average hotel.
