Motel 6 Lincoln Airport

The staff were extremely helpful and polite. They worked with us when our dogs became noisy and they helped resolve issues with noisy children upstairs.

My son and I were visiting the University in Lincoln - the motel was very basic, but was all we needed. It was clean, and the area was safe. Parents with small children -- an "adult lingerie" store shares the parking lot.

We came in for the Nebraska Texas game and most of the other hotels were already booked months prior to game day. Although the hotel was clean, it was very plain and had paper thin walls. We could hear all hallway noise and noise next door. Bed was uncomfortable. But for the price, it was a clean place to stay and feel safe.

Place was clean and a good value.

Motel located off I 80 exit in Lincoln. Outdoor pool available in summer weather. Easy to locate. Dining options limited to Perkins across street & Luckies Lounge & Grill about 1 block away besides the usual fast food.

It is a very nice place for the price! We just needed a place to stay for the night, as we were attending a wedding just far enough away from home to need to spend the night, it was cheap but nice for a place to sleep!

Looked for inexpensive place to stay as we wouldn't be spending much time in room. Stayed in Lincoln to enjoy the bike trails, numerous neighboring fishing lakes and local evening dining. The busy front desk staff was extremely knowledgable and personable. Competent to handle a crowd of people during busy checkin. Glad we had reservations as it was filling up very fast on the weekend at 7:00 p.m. Was delighted to encounter a very clean, spacious, updated room with firm beds compared to the filthy room across the street which we suffered through at Days Inn on previous night (couldn't bare to stay another day). Lincoln's airport exit offers numerous hotels at competitive low rates. It did not matter that Days Inn offered continental breakfast and Motel 6 did not-comparatively speaking we would take Motel 6's spanking new room over the sticky, stained carpets and chairs of its competitor hands down. Note limited room amenities so bring your own hairdryer/iron if needed. No alarm clock in room but wakeup call provided. Limited cable stations and no local weather on TV, but wi-fi available for a few extra bucks. Coffee drinkers would have fresh morning pot in office only. You get 15% discount at very nearby Perkins when you show room key. One negative dealbreaker that would prevent repeat stay for us but would mention to friend who was good sleeper looking for the low rate: noise travels through door, could hear other doors opening and closing, and hall conversations throughout night and early morning. One of us slept through them, the other did not. If you're a hard sleeper you won't mind. Also, smokers don't have far to huff and puff their way to their rooms, they get the first level. The rest of us get to do all the lugging.

I found it to be a very nice, clean, quiet room of average amenities, but found it to be a real bargain and quite enjoyable.

We hadn't stayed at Motel 6 in a long time, but this one was very acceptable. Not the Marriott, but clean, quiet, and friendly. Had been recently painted. No breakfast. They accept well-behaved dogs at no extra charge with no weight limit. Even though it's located next to the Lincoln Airport, it's very quiet. In four days, we only heard one airplane, and that was a small plane. There's definitely not much air traffic there. Would not recommend this hotel to families with children, particularly in the summer, since the pool is right next door to an adult shop, but other than that the location is not bad, and you can get to anywhere in Lincoln pretty fast. 10 min. max to the stadium.
