Staff was extraordinary, from the shuttle driver to the front-desk people to the maintenance men in the hallways. Room was exceptionally nice--microwave, frig, tiled bath, flatscreen TV, and comfy bed. Quiet stay in a charming area of the city. Perfect for my business trip; would choose it again!

Short walk from hotel
Don't rent a car if you can help it. The Haymarket district (one-of-a-kind boutiques) and campus are safe, walkable, and best explored on foot. Movie theater, art gallery and myriad coffee shops are all within a 10-minute walk. Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere!

Perfect location, downtown Lincoln. Only downside: one parking spot available per room. Nearby nighttime takeout available.

Nice but not for the money...
The hotel was ok, but they didn't have a breakfast like the Holiday Inn Express' do. It was more expensive all around and really think that the newer Express' are more comfortable, affordable, and have free food.

Service with a smile
We were in downtown Lincoln for our son's wedding reception at another location. There were 2 receptions at the Holiday Inn, so the lobby was packed and noisy. The desk clerk checking us in was very friendly and smiled all the while. We were a little stressed because our arrival was late, and were needed to get to the reception by shuttle. She answered all our questions as she was doing so and really put us at ease. The room was clean and comfortable, but had a wet, musty smell, perhaps from the a/c leaking. Breakfast was good. We were disappointed that the lounge was closed before 11:30, because we wanted to have a quiet drink, but it was just as well. Enjoyed our stay.

Across the street is an Italian restaurant, Vincenzo's, that we enjoyed the rehearsal dinner at. The food and service was amazing.

Convenient
Overall I had a nice stay, but the parking garage is very small and the A/C unit was dirty and stirred up my allergies.

Needs Work
Room fridge was noisy all night long. Buttons on ac didn't work. Pillows on king size bed were child size. Staff doesn't seem to understand the concept of customer service.

Nice stay, Wished they had breakfast.
This was a very nice hotel. It was exceptionally clean, the location was great, nice that they offer reasonable parking attached to the hotel since it is downtown. I wish that it offered a free breakfast. The only down side was the person next door began watching tv around 5am quite loudly and it came directly through the wall to our bed and continued until 10am. Otherwise a nice place, I will try it again.

Very Nice
The room was nice with a spectacular view of the stadium. I was a little taken aback by the staff's attire. They were wearing football t-shirts. T shirts aren't flattering for every shape and it took me a bit to figure out it was their uniform.
