Stinky
We had two rooms and both smelled of smoke; one old cigarette smoke (there was also a burn hole in the bedspread), and the other room smelled of cigar smoke. The breakfast counter was more like a hallway - people running into each other and waiting on one another - it was very crowded and inconvenient. The pool, one of the big reasons we choose this place, was very small. I don't think we would recommend this place to anyone.

Nice hotel in a good location. They haven't updated anything likely since it was built, but they were super friendly and the hotel was very clean. Despite not having the modern amenities that we have come to expect, I would stay at this hotel again.

Weary Traveler
Basic Hotel with No Frills
The rooms were very dated and felt dirty (because they were so old). The bathroom fan had been removed so mold had overtaken the ceiling. The grout was also moldy. Yech! The desk staff was incredible friendly (her name was actually [...]) and helpful. The morning breakfast was typical blah continental stuff except for boiled eggs, which was very nice. It was also VERY clean and restocked quickly.

Husker fan
Good Hotel
Nice hotel, staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. A little expensive for the hotel, but we stayed on a busy weekend, and I think all the hotels raised their prices.

Very new, clean hotel
I was a visiting fan staying the night in Lincoln after a football game and found the room very new and clean and the staff helpful and friendly.

convenient hotel
This hotel was convenient to get to off of I-80. Wish there would have been more of a selection at the continental breakfast, only waffles, toast or bagels. Only true negative thing is the toilet kept running which was very irritating, but otherwise it was an ok hotel. I'd stay here again.

There are many restuarants around, both fast food and sit down places (IHop, Cracker barrel, Carlos O'Kelly's, Applebees, McDonalds, Burger king, DQ). Also shopping close by (wal-mart, shop-ko, toysrus)
