Terrible Customer Service

Our stay started by checking in at 3:45pm and the front desk staff told us that the rooms weren't ready but were guaranteed to be ready by 4:00pm to check in. So we left and went to wash our car and came back about 4:25pm and they gave us the keys. When we went to go take our bags to the rooms the hotel cleaning staff was still in there cleaning. This was at 4:35pm. Later as we were enjoying the pool and drinks the kids were excited about swimming until 12:30am. The front desk had told us that the pool was open until then and there were signs throughout the hotel which said this as well. At 12:00pm a hotel employee came out and told everyone at the pool that it was closed now and we would have to return to our rooms. We told him that all there signs said 12:30am and my husband asked to speak with his manager. The employee told us he preferred not to get him because he was busy and that the times had changed but the signs weren't removed. When we told them that the front desk told us that as well he said they were all new and didn't know what they were talking about.

Not a good stay

The pool was VERY VERY cold. The hot tub was VERY hot. Coffee filters still left in our coffee makers in both rooms. Our rooms were # 164 & 166. Waitstaff took our drink orders and proceeded to talk with other people at the front counter. It took almost 10 minutes to get our 1st and 2nd drinks. Ordered a grilled cheese ahead of time for our kids (2 & 3 1/2) and the food came with our order. Didn't look like the rooms were vacuumed for awhile.

Old and gross

This hotel was built in the '70s or '80s and is disgusting. The hotel is touted as a three-star joint but it was not as nice as the Super 8s or Motel 6s I stayed at as a child. In fact, next time I stay in Kearney, I will stay at one of those hotels instead. Very displeased.

This hotel needs help. Bathroom mold!

We were on our way to Aurora, Colorado. Just needed a place to sleep for one night. We usually stay in another chain hotel and have always been very happy. Booked this hotel because of rate and "star" rating. We were very happy to leave. This hotel does not deserve to have the Ramada name. he bathroom had a lot of mold and the floor in the bathroom was absolutely freezing. I don't believe the room had been dusted in four months. Never again.

BAD EXPERIENCE

BAD BAD - dirty, stained carpets, luke warm water, water damage on ceiling, mold, bed looked as if it has bben slept in, threadbare towels. Any 1 star motel in the visinity would have been better for a much lower price. Worst breakfast ever, could not eat it. Never again

Want a hot shower? DO NOT stay here

We went to Kearney for State Bowling, and had a horrible hotel experience. We checked in went to our room and the TV didn't work, we notified the front desk. A young maintance kid came up looked at the TV said yah it's broke, the repair man can't come in until the morning. By late the next day a differnt TV was brought in. Also the water never got warm at all. ONLY good thing was that they bed was comfortable and had nice pillows.

Terrible 3 star hotel

This is suppose to be a 3 star hotel but does not warrant 1! the hotel is dirty, bed look slept in, water luke warm, mold, broken furniture, marks on carpet. I was in room 202. Please avoid. I am sure you can get a better room at a 1 star motel down the road.

We Will NEVER stay at this hotel again!

This is absolutely by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My wife, her sister and husband, along with their two kids and I stayed there for only one day. My sister-in-law wanted to stay at the Ramada because they have a heated indoor pool, which her kids really wanted to use. Both my wife and I preferred a cheaper hotel since we were only going to be in town for one day, but opted to stay at the Ramada so we could visit with family. BIG Mistake. First, the lobby's furnishings and design will definitely throw you off. It is decorated very nicely as to create the illusion of a 5 star hotel. Upon checking in, we found out the pool would not be heated due to malfunction, but it would still be open. This wasn't a huge deal breaker. However, the list of things that were defective in the room were deal breakers. These include, a sink that leaked so incredibly bad that a puddle filled the bathroom floor. The shower head was at my nose's level (I'm 6'2"). Even my wife, who is 5'6" found the shower head to be too low. The hotel provided iron leaked all over my dress shirt. The air conditioning unit's knobs were broken. The bathroom door's handle was practically coming off to the point you could see through the other side. The breakfast was a joke. And the pool opens at 10 A.M. even though check out is at 11 A.M, which leaves no time for the children to swim before check out. Also, there isn't a lifeguard at the pool, so what does it matter what time the pool opens? I'm sure I'm leaving a few things off this list because the defects of this hotel kept popping up every few minutes. For nearly the same price, we could've stayed across the street at the Holiday Inn, which is exactly what we'll do next time we are in Kearney.

Would not recommend

We had a horrible experience. Got locked out of our room everyday, they failed to finish cleaning our room both days, and originally tried to fit our family into one king size bed rather than two queens. Hallways were very unclean.

Ramada Kearney,NE

The room had trash in both waste baskets,It appeared as if someone had slept in one of the beds. The stool ran the whole time and kept flushing on its own. Aside from the bed the room was clean. We ordered a blanket...never got it. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The manager agreed to give us a discount of $20 but the credit has not appeared on the credit card.We also got a 50% off of the next visit. I understand it is in transition and being remodeled. This might be part of the problem...Overall ...very unhappy with the thought someone else had been sleeping there.
