I like Grand Island!
We went to the Stuhr Museum. It was excellent. We ate dinner at the Texas T Bone. It was excellent and cheap.We went for a walk in Stolly Park. The hotel gave a 10% discount for the Texas T Bone. AAA gave us a $1.00 off admission.

Exceeded Expectations
Usually, traveling on business, I stay at hotels that are $100+ - $250. This trip was relocating my belongings (moving!), so I chose some less expensive hotels to stay. Rodeway in Grand Island was VERY nice for the price! Fresh popcorn in the lobby at check-in, clean, well maintained room, free breakfast in the morning, and a large parking lot that allowed me to park a 26' truck and car trailer without any problem. As it was winter, the heat was already on when I arrived in my room, it has an interior hallway that is clean and well lit. The ONLY thing that I would say that it lacked would be an in-room coffee maker... HOWEVER, they had coffee in the lobby 24-7, so not a big loss. At this price range, HIGHLY recommended.

Hotel staff was very fast and courteous. Fine value.
The Rodeway Inn was a great value and the service was excellent. No problems and a great staff. Easy access to I-80 and there just happened to be a antique store right around the corner which made our day.

Just a Plain Motel
Ice Machine was way on the other side of building. No AM-FM Alarm Clock. No Microwave. No Hair Dryer. No Iron. No Coffee Maker in Room.
