Grand Island Travelodge

After looking at all the choices in Grand Island I went for a hotel in my price range. I wasn't sure what I would be getting but was pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortable the room was. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitly stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone who asks

I had a good experience at the hotel and plan on staying there again next week when I go back for business.

Very nice folks, very clean and more than adequate room and bath, would stay every time. PS The complainers must expect Waldorf Astoria perks at WalMart prices. Pathetic minds.

Other than a higher price than warranted for the area (there must have been some event because all the hotels were booked solid); and the fact that we had to take a smoking room bec we arrived late, everythng else was v. nice, clean, spacious The room wasn't too bad considering it was a smoking room. Breakfast basic, but ok. Staff were polite and helpful. Wd stay there again.

The room was spotless, staff friendly and helfpul, breakfast contential, but boiled eggs were a nice touch. Overall a v. pleasant stay.

Nice place just to sleep. Clean and quite. Good enough for just one night.

The hotel staff was friendly, the location convenient, the room itself was your typical budget hotel room. Decent beds, hair dryer, fridge, microwave etc. BUT... the room (designated non-smoking) smelled like a stale ashtray. We had checked in early afternoon, but didn't acually go to the room until almost midnight. When we went back to the desk to ask for another room, the hotel clerk, a very pleasant woman, said there were no other rooms available but we could have an ozone air purifying machine brought up to the room. That should have been done BEFORE a guest was allowed to use the room, NOT while a guest is IN the room. Luckily the weather was cool that night so we slept with the window open. Other than the smell, the hotel was a good buy. The 24 hour restaurant (Tommy's) next door was good.

For the most part our hotel stay was okay. Our A/C did not work most of the time and the fridge just barely got cold. The Breakfast was nothing to write home about. There is a restaurant next door, so it makes me wonder if they don't try to steer hotel guest over there with what they are serving for breakfast. This hotel offered free internet access but it was hard to get connected. The hotel was clean and quite. That was nice.

This was just your basic hotel but it was very clean and the staff was friendly. It is very close to the Heartland Event Center which is why we were there.

Clean room, comfortable be,, The Hotel is very close to the Heartland Event Center in Grand Island. A great water park behind hotel, and Fonner Park race track.
