Fremont hotel serves great burgers and ‘50s nostalgia at Penny’s Diner
Special construction and design details -- heavy insulation, thick draperies -- ensure a good night's sleep at this hotel along Business Highway 30. But that's just one highlight of the Oak Tree Inn Fremont. Before each guest's head hits the pillow, there's plenty of fun to be had at the adjacent 1950s-style Penny's Diner, where neon lights, malts and from-scratch meals evoke a bygone era. The Oak Tree Inn Fremont provides convenient access to local businesses and schools, as well as Fremont attractions such as the Louis E. May Historical Museum.

A quiet, clean getaway
I would stay there again. Location was convenient, and hotel is well away from highway. Diner next door with vouchers from hotel for breakfast was a big plus as we could choose when to go at our convenience.
