The desk clerk lady was very nice and helpful in the afternoon. By the time the evening came and the rest of the family checked in; the desk clerk was drunk and irresponsible. There were homeless people camped out on the picnic table right outside the side door which was duct taped open for their easy access to the free continental breakfast in the morning. My family and I ran into them each morning and although friendly, they would still be lingering around at 11-12 at night when we returned. It was brought to the desk clerk's attention that this was unsafe to keep the door taped opened; she advised that it was management?s decision as the card-key would not work so people could not get in otherwise. It was pointed out that the main entrance was only 5 feet away; it would take someone 30 seconds to walk to the front door. Also, my family was informed by drunken desk clerk to park in the front as cars have been broken into. However, there was no one watching the front, if you parked on the side then the clerk had a clear view of the car. This did not make sense, almost a trick to park in an unsecure area. This hotel was cheap; you definitely get what you pay for!

Low cost/o.k.
Its not a fancy motel with extras, but all we needed was someplace to sleep. So low cost is important since we weren't there to swim or vacation, just a rest place.
