Very poor experience

Hotel is very tired looking. Hotel front desk staff was rude and inattentive. Carpet and beadspread in room were dirty. I reserved for three nights and the hotel "checked me out" after two moving my belongings out of the room to a housekeeping area. Front desk advised they might not be able to get my luggage & belongings until the next day. Eventually they did find my belongings and provided another room, same poor condition. Would not stay here again...

Nothing Grand here.

This is a rundown facility with superficial fluff. Could hear man next door snoring through shared door. Room carpet needed cleaning and room smelled of smoke. Church choir singing from pool area past 10 p.m. Restaurant food and service were marginal; returned food in the evening, couldn't get a waiter/waitress next a.m. Understaffed with high school age employees. Priced high because of unavailability of other hotel rooms in town. [...] Parking lot filthy with garbage and food strewn about.

Be prepared to travel to a chain restaurant franchise to get something you are familiar with and will have a modicum of quality.

the good and the bad

Tje decor in our room was nice; we appreciated the coffee machine as we got in late. However, we had a nonsmoking room that had a strong odor of cigar smoke and the room's floor appeared unclean. The food at the restaurant was very nice. I wondered when the shams and duvet had been laundered.

Grand International

It was awful. I will never stay at this hotel every again. The staff was very rude and not helpful in ANY way. The restaurant food, though good, said they had room service in their hotel information, but when you would call to order it they didn't deliver. Check out and check in were a hassle with very unprofesional staff. The rooms were dated and beds were uncomfortable I dont' normally fill out surveys like this, but I travel 90% of the time for my job and I have never been so unsatisfied with a stay before.

Price, Quality & Location - all great!!

Found this location on-line w/[...] The rooms were large and spacious with upgraded counter tops and furniture. The microwave and refrigerator were included but not breakfast. The food served in adjoining resturant seemed to be reasonably priced but I did not eat there. Only problem was with the wi fi signal that, while adequate, did not seem to be strong enough to upload some files.

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

Shopping, resturants would be along Hwy #2 on opposite of city. Downtown district is closer with many small quaint shops. I loved visitng Main Street Books. This property is adjacent to Minot State University.
