Okay hotel for the price

Good room, clean. Staff was just okay. Price was high for the quality of the room, but it's peak season. Medora is a beautiful little town!

WAY Overpriced

Small, out-dated room. Shower tiles were cracked and mildew-stained. No tub, just a shower stall with terrible water pressure. The only redeeming feature was the indoor pool. We stayed twice as long in a much nicer hotel in Fargo for less than we paid for one night here.

Just ok-clean but pretty worn

Not a lot of options in town-service was friendly but slow, basic breakfast, etc. Hotel was a lot more than we're used to paying for so few services, but again there weren't a lot of options.

Find someplace else

The hotel was WAY!!!!!!!! to expensive for the quality of room that you get. And the Staff were unfriendly and rude. This location needs some serious HELP.

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect

Traveling on business, just needed a quiet place to sleep. Everything was normal, clean, comfortable. The hotel is feet away from well-used railroad tracks, but the noise isn't excessive. Beautiful surroundings. Good breakfast. Didn't use/notice anything else. A little pricey for where you are and what it is.

strange

The first time I have ever stayed at this chain that there was no breakfast, or even a newspaper. definitely a tourist area and not for those that prefer more than eight guests at the hotel

Trains Blow @AmericInn bring earplugs

This location is right next to the railroad tracks. Don't expect a good night's rest. The trains roll in many times throughout the night and day, as they do, the whistle is blown. Although the location next to the tracks is terrible, it is close to all that Medora has to offer. It does offer a pool but it is a small pool. The room was starting to show some age and the mattresses have seen much better days.

Quiet between the trains

Pleasant, there were a few problems. Like the faucet in the bathtub dripped, the sheets were not large enough to stay hooked over the bed corners and the train whistle went off every hour till midnight and started again about 5am
