Clean, comfortable rooms
Jamestown is very small, so there is a dearth of good hotels, so this is a very welcome place to stay. The rooms are quite comfortable, if a bit generic, and are spotlessly clean. The experience was only marred by a very loud housekeeper announcing her shift down the hall at 8:30 am.

Short drive from hotel
The Buffalo Grill, which is downtown (on Main, close to the train tracks) has very good food, and an impressively large wine list. The decor and service is unusually good for this area.

Best of what's around.
There seem to be slim pickings around Jamestown so we decided that the Holiday Inn Express was our best option. We were disappointed because we ended up in a smoking room. It permeated our clothing. The set up of the room was nice and the convenience of high speed internet was also a plus. The room was horribly dirty but it wasn't overly clean, either. The shower curtain had black, dirty hand marks on it. The bathroom didn't seem like it had been given the attention to detail it needed. Overall, I'd recommend it. It's a newer hotel in that area and the beds were quite comfortable. The breakfast was good.
