Excellent value

I traveled to attend a reunion. I chose this hotel because it was close by and less expensive than the reunion recommended hotel. Everything that I needed or wanted was close by and easy to get to. Compared to other hotels, I was well satisfied for the money I spent. The bed was comfortable, the towels were plush and the house keeping staff was very attentive. The hotel offered a continental breakfast that was very nice. Will stay there again when I go to Grand forks, North Dakota

Get what you pay for

I expected a better room and amenities for this hotel based on other reviewers but I should have known that the stay could be no better than ordinary based on the rate. One must simply pay more these days to get a nice room. The room was not well maintained in terms of cleanliness and there were visible stains on the bedspreads. The northside exit door did not open or close properly and its security features had either been disabled or had not been repaired. The heating and ventilating controls seemed crude and gave one the option of freezing or baking. The checkout seemed perfunctory [...].
