Good for cheap stay
If you're just looking for somewhere to stay and not spend a lot, this is fine. It's what you expect - not top notch ... anything, but I also didn't pay much so no real complaints. Also, saying continental breakfast is a bit of an overstatement. Nice to have a pre-breakfast snack available however.

Pleasant stay
The Select Inn in Grand Forks ND was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a quiet night, even though ... the motel was full due to a national curling tournament and a major political event. The breakfast was minimal, but for the price of the room, it was a bargain.
Traveler type: Couples
Fast food across the road and three decent restaurants within a couple of bocks.

Not what we expected.
Internet access was limited to a computer in the front lobby, not room access. We needed the internet access for work ... reasons, and the lack of access made a conference meeting impossible. The room itself wasn't terrible, however, when the trains go by and sound their horns in the middle of the night, it is impossible to sleep. We woke twice in the night due to the trains. We decided to stay at this hotel because of the price, but we will not stay again due to the lack of creature comforts, ie. internet access and sound control.
