Bare Bones...
Hotel was just OK. Staff not welcoming - barely looked up at us during check-in or check-out. Room was clean. Ample bathroom counter space. Great location just off of Hwy.29 and close to UND campus and Ralph Englestad Arena. Touts continental breakfast - not much.

Just needed to drop son off at AFB
This motel is basic, no frills no extras. It served it's purpose for a nights sleep but I don't think I could talk my family into staying here again unless there were confirmed improvements (Note to management, please look at the chairs in your rooms and replace the gross ones).

select inn
the person at the front desk was very helpful-gave good direction to the event i was going ot; the breakfast was ordinary except the tea was darjeeling instead of plain lipton; i was there overnight- if i would have been there longer i would have like a hot tub(if they had one i could not ifnd it. it is near und but not much else around it-ie to eat-kind of industrial area

Clean room not so good breakfast
The stay was good there is a train track and highway right beside which was o.k. we live beside a train track, but if you aren't used that it may be bothersome. Room was good we were on a shopping trip so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Staff were great. Breakfast left a lot to be desired only toast, muffins, mini donuts. Price was a bit to high for what u get!!

Good for cheap stay
If you're just looking for somewhere to stay and not spend a lot, this is fine. It's what you expect - not top notch anything, but I also didn't pay much so no real complaints. Also, saying continental breakfast is a bit of an overstatement. Nice to have a pre-breakfast snack available however.

Pleasant stay
The Select Inn in Grand Forks ND was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a quiet night, even though the motel was full due to a national curling tournament and a major political event. The breakfast was minimal, but for the price of the room, it was a bargain.

Not what we expected.
Internet access was limited to a computer in the front lobby, not room access. We needed the internet access for work reasons, and the lack of access made a conference meeting impossible. The room itself wasn't terrible, however, when the trains go by and sound their horns in the middle of the night, it is impossible to sleep. We woke twice in the night due to the trains. We decided to stay at this hotel because of the price, but we will not stay again due to the lack of creature comforts, ie. internet access and sound control.
