Sleepless in grand forks
Not a happy camper
Loud, people drinking by the pool until late, not a good sleep, kids were running around pool unattended, a kid smacked a hard wet ball at me, while I was reading, my grand daughter swam only for while, she said there was a lot of junk at the bottom of pool. We lost a key, when we looked under bed there was garbage under there. When I made complaint, clerk said "ok" then walked away. Rude.

Sufficient

ThanksGiving and a Snow Storm
Other than waiting for the front desk staff to check me in, my stay was enjoyable. I would stay there again since it is located close to downtown.

Nice convenient place to stay
The hotel was very pleasant for a short stay. The rooms were clean, the service was efficient, and the hotel restaurant/sports bar was affable. It is walking distance to all areas of downtown Grand Forks. I would recommend this hotel for a family with young children, with the indoor pool and mini golf. Otherwise, the noise of children playing in the pool early in the morning might be distracting.

Guesthouse GF
The staff at the Guesthouse were fabulous. Very helpful and very friendly. The attached restaurant and bar was great and provided a shuttle bus to and from the Alerus Centre free of charge. Can't compliment the staff enough - they were wonderful.

East grand forks hotel
we stayed at this hotel fo r just one night. There are better hotels for less money ib the area. our son and family stayed at The Travellodge and it was nicer and considerably cheaper.

Great for families
I liked that the Guesthouse had rooms that open to the pool and sitting area so if one of my kids forgot something in the room he could go back and get it and I could watch him while I watched my other child in the pool. The restaurant food was great but it was not open all day (closed in the afternoon). I liked that the pool/hot tub was open until 11:00 pm. The money slot did not work for the arcade games so my kids could not play the games. I liked that the room was spacious for many suit cases and bags and toys. I prefered the quiet over being right next to a mall. I will go back for sure.

Wonderful Amenities for Children
We choose the Guesthouse hotel mainly because of the pool and mini golf on the premises. We also visited the restaurant and bar which was roomy and had a reasonable menu. The room was very nice and housekeeping had left the air on so the room was nice and cool on a very hot day.
