Generally Easy to Please
TERRIBLE
Easily yhe worst hotel we've ever stayed at. Manager was working the desk, incredibly rude. Got the reservation wrong, went to the room there were stains all over the floor and carpet, bathroom fan not working due to the fact it was hanging by wires from the wall. A/C didn't work. We tried to change rooms and he wanted us to pay for another room. Refused to just refund our money. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We got stuck sleeping on an air mattress in my inlaws basement it was so bad.

Just a place to stay
We checked into 2 rooms. One was not ready - just the way the last occupants left it - but quickly got another room. Other room had 1 battery in remote - had to trade it in for another room remote. Waffles were OK but no milk, donuts soggy - not much of a breakfast. But it was a place to spend the night.

disappointing
I know we just experienced a heavy snow, but has no one heard of rocksalt? The ice in front of one of the side entrances was inches thick. One security door didn't close unless you pulled it shut. I found this out when I went to enter after 11 and didn't need a key! So much for security. Parking lot is horribly small, but hardly matters compared to the black mold on the ceiling above the shower. All in all it was a bed and a bathroom. Small table with 2 chairs, one of which rocked so bad I was afraid to sit in it for fear of collapse

Unacceptabe cleanliness
Missing smoke detector, dirty blankets, dirty carpets, ceiling lamp covers filled with dead bugs, and full size beds not queen size as advertised

The rooms were very small. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice. The shower walls were dirty and it took us 15 minutes of running the shower water to get it warm. The room was freezing. We turned on the heat and left for 30 minutes but it was warm when we came back. The breakfast was nice. The smell of inscents was enough to make my husband sick.

The good, bad & ugly
I thought I would let you know about my experience at Rodeway Inn FargoWhen I arrived they gave me a smoking room when I had requested a nonsmoking roomThey refused to move us as they said they were fullFortunately the room had been renovated and the carpets had been changed andthere didn't appear to be any smell but if we had waited say a month fromnow when smokers had been in that room my children would have had a problemas they are all very allergic to smokeI was away when you email arrived so I just got it when we came back fromFargo so I didn't have it to show them that I had made a special request.The hotel kept insisting that I had requested a smoking room which I had not[...]The continental breakfast was alright but the coffee was horrible

Travel for Budget Minded
It was a very nice stay. The price and service were very good. Will be going back to Rodeway Inn again in January.

Amazing for the price
We were looking for the cheapest hotel in the Fargo area and booked this place with low expectations. It surprisingly turned out to be a very clean, friendly, and comfortable stay. A+
