Motel 6 Fargo

Very clean, nice staff, good location. We would stay there again.

Dirty room, lousy pool, unfriendly morning crew. Found a clump of hair on the shower wall (the room had just been "cleaned".) Uncomfortable temperature. The air was either blasting hot or freezing, no middle ground was achievable. No internet unless you get one of few rooms equipped, or you go to lobby and pay for it. Cheap rates, but I'd rather pay $10-20 more to get a clean room.

Hotel sux.

The carpet was badly soiled and needed to be steamed cleaned. This smoking room had cigarette burns everywhere, on the carpet, comforter, countertops.

Made my reservations late and this was the only place left with rooms. Had to take a smoking room and as a non-smoker this is something I will never do again---I will sleep in my car instead! But the room was otherwise clean and functional, the staff was friendly, and there was hot coffee in the morning.

It was the most awful stay that my husband and I have ever had. Our room was located near the pool. I had to get up early to run in the Fargo Marathon and needed a good nights sleep. It was so noisy that I had to put tissue in my ears along with a pillow over my head to try to get some sleep. There was noise out in the hallway until at least 2 a.m. Now lets talk about the filth. I have never in my life seen such filth in a hotel room. We honestly would not let our dog walk across the floor if she would have been with us. We did not dare to walk barefoot on the floor because it was so dirty. We wore our sandals except when we were in the bed. The window had duct tape on it. There were handprints and smears all over the glass on the window. We felt like we should have been disinfected when we left. If we thought that there was another room in a different hotel believe me we would have checked out but with the Marathon there was no rooms anywhere. I personally would not recommend this room to an animal. I was so disappointed and will NEVER stay there again. That hotel should not even be able to have the "Hotel 6" sign in front of it. What a disgrace to the company.

Considering the price, the place was really good. My room was clean and in good condition. Staff was friendly. I noticed the pool seemed a little on the small side. What I didn't like was that the room I had was 4 doors down from the exit(I'm disabled with bad knees). Also, there were no parking spots reserved for disabled persons near the entrance. In the roll in shower, I would have liked to have seen a seat or some type of a chair that could be used for those who can't stand for very long. With that said, I would stay there again.

there was some noise outside that could be heard from our room when people arrived late -

I needed a place to stay. The rate was reasonable for what you got. The bed I slept in was a bit uncomfortable, but it was nice and quiet. The climate control was a bit hard to keep- I was up a few times through out the night switching it from fan-to- heat to fan...etc. Hotel check in was quick and friendly. The hotel could use a little makeover, but overall, I was pleased.

Overall, very disappointing. People hanging around outside entrances at all hours of the night, in and out of the building (short visits?), very large and obvious dog dropping near main entrance for entire time we were there. We actually had to leave a day early - could not stay one more day. Very uncomfortable and fearful of clientele - Building in very poor condition, paint peeling, moldy bathroom-tile actually fell off the wall. If you are not a single female traveling with a teenager, and are dog tired, I can recommend the bed - it was pretty comfortable. Otherwise, I would avoid.
