Happy to be home
OK for the price
The room was OK, bed linens were clean, and smelled fresh. Bathroom was clean. The hotel is dated, First night we were on main floor, heard lots of noise from room above (walking and toilet flushing). Second night we were moved to the second floor, again, room was OK. Front desk staff tried to be helpful and were friendly, but if you need something you have to speak to Lori . There are some "sketchy" people, but we are adults, I wasn't worried.

You don't quite get what you pay for
Elsewhere in the country a room like this might cost about $15 a night. Room was trashed. Lights didn't work. Remote didn't work and when I asked the front desk to fix it, they gave me a paper so I could program it for them. Not my job. In Fargo, motel6 is going for about $65 a night. More than I would normally pay for that chain, but at least they are clean and functional. I'll pay the extra buck next time.

VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE
The picture shown above is not even close to the room I stayed in. For starters, there is a hole in the carpet in front of the dresser about the size of a grapefruit in a high traffic area. Next, there was electrical and duck tape placed around the outlets and the cable connection cover. There are broken ceiling tiles and it looks like they have been broken for many weeks. The alarm clock time flashes the time similar to when power comes back on except it counts how many hours have past. After setting the time, it goes back to the flashing12:00 and begins to count the hours again. This location should be banned from your site because it lessens your companies credibility

Disapointed
My family needed a no-frills , clean , comfortable place to stay while traveling thru N.D. The Grand Inn in Fargo was not such a place . Our no-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke . There was a long black hair in the sink . The floor had not been recently vacuumed . There were crumbs and dust as well as stains , all over the carpet . Band-aid wrappers under one of the beds .A hole had been kicked in the bathroom door . The shower had 2 temperatures : scalding hot and ice cold .

The unexpected
Hello, First the room smell of mold. I did get to change. Next , the ad describe that the hotel had high speed internet. No such thing. If they were refering to the desktop in the lobby that does not count. It was to be every room.Could not get it.My notebook was useless. Little things like no trash can and half the lights worked made it trying.I know you don't refund but I checked out on wednesday.I was to check out on saturday. The female at the desk could not give me a receipt , she felt you should send me one. Not one of the best choses. The TV was good to keep up with the US Open.

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed in
The rooms smelled bad. And the Continential Breakfast was a 2 day old bagel and stale coffee. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Basic clean friendly very reasonable.
This hotel reminded me of the ones I stayed in as a child. Very basic, but clean and very comfortable.

fargo marathon 09
at least they are helpful and polite
we were in town for the fargo marathon. we chose this hotel becasue it was in a good location and would be a place most families would not choose as it does not have a pool. the hotel was having major plumbing problems. they fixed them during the night. it was extremely loud. we were unable to get to sleep until after 2 am. they were kind enough to give us a very late check out the next day so we were able to come back and shower after the race. the employees were polite and the hotel was clean. it just was a bad night. unfortunately, it was an important night for us to get a good night's sleep.
