Great Place
Every one was very nice. We were pulling a trailer behind our truck and they put us in a place where it was easy for us to get in and out. The room was very clean and everything worked. I would deff recommend this hotel to people its only 2 miles away from downtown and next to some pretty cool antique shops

A Non-Smoking Room???
I asked for a non-smoking room and was assured that the one assigned was non-smoking. But it smelled to high heavens of cigarette smoke. Oh well, I was told, that's just because it used to be a smoking room. When, I wondered - earlier today? After I checked out I could still smell the odor in my clothes. While the pillows were good the bed was ordinary, and I had to run the AC to get rid of the smoke smell, so it drowned out the highway sounds pretty well. Breakfast was slim but adequate. Not a good experience all in all.

Better than expected
The front desk manager was very helpful, the location was good and it was exactly what I wanted. However they have NO housekeeping or anything on site. So when I had a problem like needing a new garbage can or an extra towel - there was no way to accomodate that.

Decent place to stay
Very nice staff. I requested and received a late check-in. Upon arrival I was given a key-card to access my room but it did not work when I got to the room. This was annoying, but I called the front desk from my cell phone and within a minute a security guard was there to let me in. Another minute later and the front desk agent himself was at my door with new key cards. The room itself was not spectacular, but the price was right.

I stayed here while moving from Arkansas. I planned to close on my house the next day and was traveling with a huge moving truck, my mother in my truck, my girlfriend, and two dogs. I called ahead to ask for a lower level room so we could monitor our moving truck and my pick-up with things in the bed. We were given a great room off the main road and were able to watch our things without worry. also great place to stay if you have dogs. rooms were clean and nice cont breakfast as well!!!!

Not too bad
Don't understand why there are ash trays in a non-smoking room. Cable connector wall plate needs replacing. Overall the room was clean. Staff is helpful. Plenty of eating options within a mile. Continental breakfast has plenty of choices. If I could I would give it a 3.5,not quite a 4.

Great nights rest
The INKEEPER of Winston Salem gives you a friendly atmosphere of a relaxed enviroment with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Hotel is close to the HWY and major food establishments. The price is very good in this time of economic stress. I have passed on this hotel recommendation to all my friends and coworkers.

You get what you pay for
The Innkeeper Winston-Salem is a bare-bones hotel with no amenities that I could see. I was looking an affordable place to stay for a group of friends and that's what we found. The room was clean enough, but seems a little run down. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work causing you to break a sweat before you could get dried off from your shower and out of the bathroom.
