Good Mid-Budget place to stay
Very easy access to local places. Several places to eat on this exit and the next one up. Close to the Mall and other shopping. For Business people the Office Depot is at this exit. Staff is very friendly and the room I had was spacious compared to others in the area. Excellent breakfast. Real food not just bagal and waffle. Sausage or Bacon, buscuit and gravy, eggs. Also noticed the hotel is "kid friendly". rolling beds, pool. Location was docked one because you have to make U turns to get in to hotel and out to the shopping center.

Good room, good value
This motel was perfect for my trip, which was to drop off my granddaughter at college. Clean, well-maintained, friendly staff.

Don't judge a book by its cover
The rooms and lobby were very nice and clean. Check-in the staff was very nice but took way too long (chatty front desk person). We requested adjoining rooms however due to how they booked the hotel we were not able to have them. The beds were very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good but took a while for staff to restock.[...] In the end, it was a bunch of hype about nothing at all. Overall, good experience with nice rooms, friendly staff, but they do need to be better trained on checkin and checkout.

The call from the front desk at 10:30PM about excessive noise was the only flaw in this stay. My autistic grandson was not slamming doors (as the complainers had said) but was jumping off the bed. Still seemed a bit early for the call - we were working on settling him down when the call interrupted us. Besides, I had requested a first floor room because of his love of jumping but was given third floor instead.

Holiday Inn Express Winston-Salem
My room was noisy as it faced the interstate. i requested a quiet room but checked in at 11pm. The breakfast bar ran out of food on Saturday morning and the coffee was weak and lukewarm.
