We stayed here when dropping off our daughter to Wake Forest for school. 10 minute drive. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful with directions.

Great overall place to stay
The Hawthorne Inn was wonderful. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff went out of their way to accomate. I didn't get to take a dip in the pool, but it looked inviting. The continental breakfast was more than expected. My room had a beautiful view of the city.
