Comfort Inn Winston-Salem

swimming pool was disgusting,and no place to sit. morning management staff was rude.booked none smoking got smoking.hotel was dirty .

The hotel smells like cigarette smoke. I was in a non smoking room but it made no difference b/c the smoke fills the halls and seeps underneath the door. I went to take a shower when I got in and the shower turned into a bath (shower was backing up). The customer service rep did offer to move me to a smoking room or a regular king room b/c there was no one there on a Friday evening at 5 p.m. to fix the shower. Then the bathroom overall was dirty! Thrash on the floor, used soap in the shower, shower walls and floor filthy. The only bright spot was [...] from housekeeping that came by the next day and cleaned that bathroom like it was her own.The doors shut insanely loud.

Convient location to interstates and local restaurants

The finding of this hotel was not easy but we arrived late and that did not help....Better directions are definetely needed since the people are nice. The rooms are wonderful. Breakfast a two thumbs up.....The pool needed its hot tub and some fitness equipment needed some minor repair....Other than that awesome stay

We have never been to Winston-Salem before, but drove from Philadelphia for a wedding. We looked online and the Comfort seemed like it would have been a nice place to stay. I [...] specifically asked for a non-smoking room because we are non-smokers and both have allergies. When we arrived we were given a key to the third floor (which was a smoking floor) and told that that was the only room left in the hotel with the specifications we asked for. The employee at the front desk also told us Comfort Inn could not take responsibility for the mix-up [...]We decided to stay in the only non-smoking room left in the hotel, but it took 3 trips down to the front desk to get the correct key for the room. I tried to switch my reservation to another Comfort Inn in the area, but was told that I'd have to pay for my room once again [...]Once in the new room - we had trouble keeping hot water for the length of a shower.[...]Needless to say, things happen and this could happen to anyone... but I don't want to risk this situation again by staying at another Comfort Inn!

Great staff. The hall did have slight ordor. Rooms clean . Did have hard time finding the hotel...called but got bad directions. Good selections for dining in area.

I thought the rooms were filthy, the hallway's smelled like smoke - even though our room was smoke-free. The remote was broken, there were holes in the blankets, and the mattress was lumpy. The bathroom was disThe staff was very attentive and friendly, but I wouldn't stay there again - it needs to be updated and thoroughly cleaned. The shower was gross - I found hair on the tub and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Needless to say, I didn't use the shower!

The Baymont Inn & Suites in Winston-Salem was a good value and was in a good location. The breakfast bar was well stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel for the $$$$
