Wilson I-95 and US 264 Microtel Inn

Staff good. Rooms a little dirty but not bad. Overall the price was the best for the room.

We were skeptical about staying here due to the reviews, but we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was VERY nice. The lady at the front desk was so sweet; she even suggested restaurants to go eat at! The breakfast was really good- waffles, muffins, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, water, bagels. I heard people complaining because it was small & there were no eggs- HELLO! It's a HOT breakfast at a Microtel. It wasn't the Ritz people!! The room was clean & comfy- small- but again- MICROtel. We will definitely stay again.

I will preface by saying my complaint is with the staff not the hotel itself, the first room we were given the air was not working and we were moved right away. Read on...We chose this hotel because a friend of the family recommended it to break up our trip to Myrtle Beach with our young children. My sister also stayed at this hotel, she made it before we did and was informed that my room had been changed from a two queen bed to a one queen bed. I called, and was told they would have the right room available when I arrived. Upon arrival the price was 13 dollars more and then the lady at the front procdeded to tell me it was because I had listed incorrectly how many peope were in the room. This was her reason for them moving me to a single bed and upping my price. (without notice or asking me) She then proceeded to contradict her reasoning and told me that sometimes single people want a bigger room because they are claustraphobic and their price is then lower, would'nt it stand to reason they would move them too, unless they asked them specifically? I asked her could she not lower the price, she said no she could not it was Microtel's policy and pricing. I then proceeded to check another Microtel right down the road and they listed the same room, with the correct number of people at the lower price. The hotel was clean and in a good spot, but customer service leaves ALOT to be desired.

hotel was clean, appears to have been recently updated some, there are no extra ammenties (pool, fitness, etc). Staff was friendly, did honor my request for a room mini-fridge. Second floor smelled like smoke in the hallway, but I'm sure that was due to another patron too lazy to walk outside rather than the hotel as the hotel room itself did not smell.

My hotel stay was very good overall. We were pleased with the room.

Needed a place to lay my head while working in Wilson on business. You probably can't get better reservations for the price of the Microtel. The overall effect of the hotel is homey. Rooms are small but immaculately clean with a big, comfortable bed. The TV was old and not the best picture quality, but served the purpose of some brain candy before falling asleep. I really liked the large window that let in beautiful natural light in the morning. Oh! and it had a wonderful showerhead with ample hot water. I think my main complaint would be that the room did not have simple amenities like many standard hotels do (ie: an iron and ironing board, microwave, refridgerator, coffee maker, etc.). The free breakfast was pretty bad if you are a healthy eater or a foodie. All in all though, I will definitely be staying here for future business trips.

I booked this hotel over the phone at 3am. I was tired of driving and needed sleep. [...] picked this hotel for me. I got a great price and the room was very clean and comfortable. It was just what I needed!

The room was not clean, we were too tired to complain, however there was makeup on one of the pillow cases, evidently housekeeping failed to change one of the cases, to give one the benefit of the doubt......... until we went into the bathroom to discover that black hair was all over the bathroom floor.

The Motel, is in a nice area surrounded by a number of other options. I found that the room was much in need up upgrades and maintenance. the toliet ran most of then night. The ceiling had cracks and there was not molding on the floors. The people were vrey friendly....

First let me say that when I checked in they put me in a room for the disable a walk in shower and big door, but no microwave or refrigerator. When call the desk and told I didn't need that type room and could I get a room with a microwave and refrigerator they said it would be 10.00 more per night. I was unhappy with that but went on took it. Than on two different occasions staff members open my door then said sorry and went back out, no knock or anything I told the front desk and the said sorry also. Now I was in my PJ's but what if I had been undressed.
