It was a dorm room not a hotel room

We are a couple in our forties on vacation. We wanted to go to the beach to play and fish. We thought this room was better ... suited for students. The room was set up like a very small dorm room. The hotel description stated a queen size bed. Ours was definitely a small double. The T.V. could only be viewed by sitting on the edge of the bed. To get ready to go out, the only mirror to get ready was in the bathroom (no outside area to get ready). We were not happy that the hotel allowed smoking and pets. We liked the free breakfast. Not worth the money, nothing special.

There are two Marriott hotels next to each other. The hotel entrance could easily be missed. The traffic is very bad around this area.

over all i was very happy, staff very friendly especially housekeeping. i was very happy that i had access to computer in ... lobby with a printer. the only complaint i have is pull bed very uncomfortable, however, i would come back and will as my daughter is attending college in nc.

Could not believe the accommodations for the price. Have paid a lot more for rooms not nearly as nice. a great location for ... accessing the beaches, down town area, and airport. The only negative we had was the entrance was a little hard to find the first time because the sign was small and the entrance road looked like it was for a neighboring motel.

nice place. rooms are fairly small, but well appointed and the space is maximized. staff were friendly. i would stay here ... again. this is not really a walkable area, but is a reasonably short drive to beach access and historic wilmington.

Great hotel! Thought it was closer to the beach, it was about a 10 minute drive to Wrightsville Beach and a 25 min drive to ... Carolina Beach. Staff were very nice and the rooms were great!

The only problem we experience was that the Internet kept breaking down. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. The ... continental breakfast was well done and the food was fresh. All in all, we enjoyed our stay there and would consider going back next time we visit the Wilmington, NC area.
