Everything was good. Our rooms were across the hall from each other. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was really good.

Room itself was ok however that is as far as I can go with a positive recommendation. We had one day where housekeeping was poor and another day where the hotel guest were woken up by a fire alarm panel being worked on at 7AM and the individual did not know how to turn it off. That created everyone having to eat their " free breakfast" outside in the cold because the alarm was going on and off all morning. Tried to call the front desk and nobody was there to pick up the phone to see what was going on.

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. When we checked in we noticed that the bathtub wasn't draining correctly but once we notified the front desk, they quickly remedied the problem and even offered to let us switch rooms if we wanted too. The cleaning staff were also top notch. The pool was perfect for little ones, it isn't too deep. The continental breakfast is all you need to start your day and I would definetly stay here again. Also it is really close to surrounding beaches without being directly on the beach. We loved it!

There were 2 hairs in the bed and the tub was backed up.

Pool so small it's almost cute. Other than that, this is a great hotel minutes from all the restaurants, the beach and the highway.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was close to restaurants, easy access to roads in and out of town, and the staff was polite and professional. If I have to go back to Wilmingon, this is where I will stay.

The hotel was great, my only complaint would be the beds. My husband and I didn't have a morning where our backs didn't hurt. However the whirlpool hot tub worked wonders! They have a great snack bar down in the lobby that was open 24 hours so a midnight snack and drink was easily accessable. The rooms were soundproof so we did not hear anything from other rooms, and others could not hear anything from us, which was great since we were on our honey moon!

Pet fee(which was not listed on this site) was much higher than other places - call ahead to check before booking. Third floor room had nice kitchen & desk, but was very noisy - constant wind whine from the windows & could hear people talking outside easily.

TownePlace Suites proved to be exceptional in every aspect. My daughter was participating in Triathlon at UNCW and the location was perfect. Evey restaurant imaginable was at hand. We were not there to site see or shop so can't really speak to that. Upon arrival was greeted immediately by staff. Check in was flawless. Went to room and found it to be nice, and above all clean. Great experience will stay again.
