Average place to stay....

I was in Wilmington and needed a room for several days. The Suburban Extended Stay was an economical choice: the room was ... small but had a full kitchen and the location was close to the areas I needed. The key advantages: the room wasn't too expensive, was clean, and was in a good location. The disadvantages: small, smelled musty (it's in a southern town on the ocean, so I expected this) and was noisy (every time the people in the room above me walked around I could hear it).

We love Wrightsville Beach....Only a five minute drive, got to enjoy walking on the beach everyday. We returned to our ... room, enjoyed breakfast in our room...with all the amenities from coffeemaker, toaster, micro wave, frying pans, dishes....everything we needed to eat in. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Wilmington, NC.

Buy your own groceries and eat Breakfast and Lunch in your room. Dinner out will be even more enjoyable. All the restaurant chains are within a few minutes of the hotel.

I have a 8 month old and he now crawls, i noticed something black on his hands and feet, it was from the carpet! It was dirt ... or dust either way very nasty! When you walked outside there was also a rotten odor..We liked the kitchenette the most but would never stay there again.

Hotel had a perfect location, right off the freeway for easy access. Hotel staff was expecting me and room was ready when I ... arrived. Cleanliness is extreemly important to me and room was spotless. Everything you need is provided for you.

the room smelled really bad and now all my stuff smells, it was pretty unclean, the bed had bugs, no garbage can, 2 towels, ... they put us right above the pool so it was constantly noisy, I would not stay here again.

This is a great hotel for the money. The staff is friendly and the rooms were clean. The best part is that the beds were ... nice and soft and not hard like some places. Very queit!!! The only down side is that the kithen is so tiny. Overall I would spend another night at this place as long as I was not planning on cooking-no oven by the way.

Room was smelly with smoke and could have used a bit of air freshner. One lamp had a burnt out lightbulb and it was the one ... by the reading chair. The staff was great upon checkin and one maintenance worker stopped me in the hall and carried my bags up the stairs without me asking him. Very gracious personell! I will definately stay here again. Very, very, clean room and appliances were spotless. Asked employee where was a good place close to eat and he made 2 recomendations that turned out to be wonderful experiences.

The staff were helpful and empathetic-the reason I had traveled to Wilmington ended up having to be cancelled due to ... unexpected situation and had to check out in one day. Unfortunate there was no way to get a partial refund after paying for 5 days. I Do not hold it against hotel at all but probably won't book through Orbitz again because of this. the policy through Orbitz re: refund is too strict when plans change at the last minute beyond your control.If I had booked w/hotel direct I could have had a full refund after the one day stay with 24hr notice.

Worth Every Penny

This motel is just fine if you are mostly concerned about price and if you'd like to save more money by self-catering. The ... staff was very friendly and helpful. It is an easy drive to downtown Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, with lots of other hotels on the same street. However, the devil is in the details: cheap, dingy bedding -- a roaring A/C that can't be modulated very well -- a shower that is either boiling or freezing. On the plus side, it's clean and safe and they provide you with a toaster. So, enjoy your morning Pop Tart and then get the heck out of there until you can fall exhausted into your lumpy bed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the staff kept it that way. I am on a special diet, so I ... really liked being able to have all the amenities such as full size refrigerator, stove top, dishes, and utensils to prepare my food. I would definitely stay there again and have no problem recommending it to anyone.

The Surban Inn Hotel was very cozy and it really had some of the features that you would have at your home. I liked the ... internet service that they had, you could work from there if you needed too. The refrigerator was a very nice touch because you could bring your own food and cook it without having to spend money to go out and eat every night. I enjoyed and would go there again. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

The Suburban Extended Stay of Wilmington was a great hotel for the money. The room included a full size refrigerator, two ... stove-top burners, a large microwave, and plenty of counter space. The staff was very friendly at both check-in and check-out. The location was very convenient to both downtown Wilmington and Carolina and Wrightsville Beaches. The hotel was very quiet, we were never disturbed by anyone. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely go back there again!

There is a gas station near O'Charley's/Walmart called Go-Gas (i think) CHEAP GAS!!!! We filled up there during the WHOLE WEEK!!!!
