wilmington stay
I wanted to stay near my daughter for Christmas and this hotel was the perfect spot, and they let dogs stay which is very important to us. The staff was nice.

Close to UNC Wilmington
VERY nice staff- room was comfortable though the a/c unit is loud. No conditioner- just a conditioning shampoo (without much conditioning). The pool is small but very clean. The exercise room is in a small separate bulding and only has one treadmill, two bikes and a weight machine. Breakfast was good with hard boiled eggs, cereals, waffle maker, breads, sausage sandwiches and fresh fruit. I would definitely stay here again for a family oriented pet friendly hotel (there were lots of furry friends!)

Clean, Average Lodging
The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast was a convenient plus, but the rooms were very small with a tiny bathroom. I had been there before and could now see some wear & tear also. It was convenient for us again, so we gave it another try.

too small
The hotel room was too small and the carpet was filthy. It needs replacing. Breakfast was good though. Not a hotel for families

Value-Conscious Traveler
Great Value in Wilmington
We had a great experience at the Jameson Inn. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The Jameson Inn is conveniently located to quickly access both downtown Wilmington and the beach....great place to stay for travel in Wilmington.

In all fairness...
The staff was great, however our non-smoking room was beside smoking rooms and the smell permeated the air all night. My whole family left the hotel with scratchy throats and the sniffles. Also, the couple next door chose to stay up all night fighting. The desk called their room and they still kept shouting. This hotel was very clean. If I stay there again, it will not be anywhere near the smoking floor-3rd floor.

Short walk from hotel
Target, Marshalls and Chic-Fil-A were right across the street! That was convenient and the stores were nice.

Wonderful experience
The Jameson Inn is conveniently located to most attractions and shopping. We visited the Cotton Exchange, ACL Railroad Museum (great for all ages) and the battleship North Carolina. The breakfast at the Jameson Inn was great. The variety of items to choose from was better then other hotels we have stayed at. We would stay there again either in Wilmington or another city where they have a Jameson Inn.
