Inn at Wilmington

Reserved a queen bed, was given a room with a full. Air conditioning did not work. Hotel staff was not friendly or accommodating when we requested extra towels and blankets.

I requested a Queen non smoking with pet. What I received was a cramped double - smoking. I ended up in the Pet Motel area on the 2nd floor. The toilet was running when I walked in, and ashes were in them. The room reeked of smoke and there was a leaf in the bathtub. The bathroom fan was on, and deafening. HOWEVER, after contacting the front desk, I was moved to a downstairs room that was a Queen, non smoking,. In the end, it worked out. Rooms are small, but so are all of the others that are located in the same area.

It was just what I wanted some where to sleep and shower and buzz around beaches and downtown and spend time with my son whom is a student at UNC WIlmigton..Love the staff and rooms were clean and pleasent i plan on staying there again soon

This is a value priced hotel, so I have reasonable expectations. I needed a place to dump my bags, sleep and shower. The Inn has a great location because it is one of the closest on the Market Street strip to all the cool stuff you might want to do in downtown Wilmington. As far as the room, the problems were no remote for the tv (and pushing the controls on the tv did not seem to work) but no big deal for me. The tub could have been cleaner (a few hairs, some splashes of the previous tenants shampoo on the tub liner walls). But I've had both these problems and worse in much costlier places. I could have complained and I'm sure these things would have been taken care of, but for me, it was no big deal. For the price I paid, this place was a great value, clean enough and most importantly, the front desk staff were all great and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Very happy with the staff and the clean. Yes, i have to say that is not a 5 star hotel, and the bld is kind of old. But it is very functional and they keep it in good conditions.

2:30 AM a guest high on something starting banging on my door demanding Viagra, yes I said Viagra. What was worse is this bizarre behavior was witnessed by the inn's security who was about as effective as Barney Fife with an empty water pistol. Thankfully our chemically overloaded friend must have either found his Viagra or went into a much needed comatose state...the Inn's manager, who looked all of 25, said, "I'll look into it" without regard to 4-6 hours of missed sleep...If you are looking for experiences well beyond the state of normal then it my suggestion you stay here...although a crack house might be a little more peaceful....

The motel was OK for the price but the service was aweful. I had to wait 30 minutes to check in only to find my key did not work. I went back twice and waited a total of another 30 minutes for a key refresh but never did get one that worked. I had to leave my room unlocked with some very expensive scuba gear in it to wait to get a key that worked and a remote for the TV. I wound up eating my lunch for the next day as I could not leave the property with my room unlocked. There was one person running the whole place.
