Unbeatable Amenities For The Price!

We truly enjoyed the free breakfast. There were many varieties of fresh breakfast foods to choose from. The breakfast ... hostess, [...] was just fantastic! She made sure that we had an enjoyable experience in selecting and preparing our breakfast. Always pleasant, she made our trip to breakfast worth taking.Although a bit small, the rooms were very cozy. We really enjoyed the flexibility of temperature control in our room. Sheets and towels were very soft and sanitized. Enjoyed the shower massager too!I stayed at another hotel in the same area which was of no comparison to our pleasant experience at the Baymont Inn.

Residing in a Metrolpolitan area, I took advantage of an opportunity to get away from the "noise". My stay was quiet and ... uneventful which is exactly what I needed. The staff I found to be very warm and accommodating. The location was convenient to a variety of retailers and restaurants. My only disappointment was the worn condition of the mattress, and the bed and bath linen were less than clean. Perhaps a bit more attention to cosmetic details would be helpful too. Aside from this - I was satisfied.

Visiting the area for business continuing education. The hotel was clean, quiet, and secure. It was centrally located and ... easy to get in and out of. Also, their drink machines were well priced instead of the usual gouging that you find at most hotels. I will stay there again next year when I return for more continuing education in the area.

This is the 3rd time we stayed at the Baymont. It is very clean, and the staff is wonderful and welcoming. The room had a ... pristine microwave and frig. It is close to shopping, good restaurants, and the beach. We won't stay anywhere else.

If you take your pet and all they have is smoking. Do not take the room. You must have the pet crate and the room has a very ... strong stale smoke smell. It is in a great location and the dining choices are great. The only other problems I had, we went to enjoy the beach and it was about an hour away. Long drive after being beat up by the waves.

Would not recommend this motel!!!!
Wife Jun 26, 2009
We had to request for the sink to be cleaned, towels were not left, and the beds were not changed the during our stay at all. ... Staff would did not respond to complaints. Also, the continental breakfast was bad and their COFFEE is the worse I have ever tasted. There was not a coffee pot in our room. I would not recommend this motel to friends I did not like! The mattress was terrible, very lumpy.

We were first put into a room that was not very clean or big. The desk clerk did call and ask about our accomodations, when ... I told her that the room was not up to the standard we had had the previous year at the same price, she did move us to another room. That was nice and we appreciated the customer service. This was our third time at this hotel but we might look elsewhere the next time. We travel to Wilmington at least once a year to visit family. The reason that I would not recommend the hotel is that people could probably get just as good a deal somewhere else. The breakfast bar was clean and well stocked.

VERY SMALL!
kung fu guy Jun 8, 2009
My wife and I were in Wilmington for business and pleasure. Our trip was great, except for the hotel. The rooms are the ... smallest I have ever stayed in, the bed's, advertised as a king, were actually a queen. The room smelled of mildew and was very musty. We were moved to another room due to a plumbing leak. The new room also had the same smell. The bed mattress was in poor shape, and made for a rough night of sleep. Luckily, we were only in this room to sleep, as we left early in the morning, and returned late at night. I will NOT be staying in this hotel again. The one bright spot of the experience was that the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend going to eat at "Circa 1922", a very good restaurant in downtown Wilmington. The seared scallops with oyster fondue was the best meal I had while there. Very reasonably priced also.
