should have worried when we pulled up and four police cars were at the entrance. supposedly underage drinking but didnt want to let that upset me, just wanted a nice room and good sleep. the entire hotel was under renovation, carpet dirty, light fixtures unhooked, halls covered with tape and tarps. our room had the number written in marker on a piece of tape. the room was to be non smoking but smelled horrible. the "free" breakfast was non existant so we just went to mcdonalds and cut our losses.

3 charging like a 9
This is a worn out Holiday Inn re-badged to be a Ramada and they should be ashamed. The carpets in the halls were dirty, the outside security doors were broken so anybody could enter any time and the breakfast was truly awful. They had the audacity to charge a $30 pet fee on top of the $73 room rate when better rooms are available close by for 1/2 that! Trains went by all night just a few feet away.....Sleep?? Not me! There is more but you get the idea.Skip this one for sure!!

unstately stay in statesville
The hotel staff locked us out of our room as a result of either their or Orbitz neglegence. I would never refer anyone to stay here, nor would i use orbitz as a travel service again

not bad hotel
my father and me were going to the nasacr race in north carolina that weekend!we would go out and get a bite to eat and have leftovers from the restaurant but we had no way of keeping the food cold,for a later time!Then we couldn't heat it up either no microwave!Next time we stay in a hotel thts one thing were looking for!

Helpful Staff
The desk staff went out of their way to be helpful. They went above and beyond on all three requests for assistance. I can't remember the last time I bumped into such cheerful and helpful folks at a hotel desk.
