Perfect for Camp Lejeune
I have stayed here a number of times. The staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is varied and perfectly fine.

Enjoyable
We were house hunting and found this location excellent for the area. The breakfast buffet was nice and made this hotel a good value for us.

clean and cool
we really enjoyed our stay. the breakfast was great. our kids really loved the pool when we were not at the beach.

The staff was very helpful. One housekeeper searched 5 min to finally find me a straw. Front desk allowed a few extra minutes after checkout time to pack up. Would definitely return. Only one small negative: their dinner rec for Riverview Cafe missed. Mediocre place. Hotel breakfast was outstanding!

The hotel is set a little ways from the center of activity but all in all its a great place to stay. The drive is not inconvenient knowing you;re coming back to a great place to stay!

Ok, but not worth the money
My husband, sister and I attended a wedding at Topsail Island. We decided to stay close by so we picked this hotel. The Holiday Inn Express charges what they do because they know there isn't another major hotel close by. For the amount of money they charge, there should be a fitness facility on the premises. I had to improvise and do my workout in the heat and get eaten alive by mosquitoes. There isn't a screened covered area either by the pool so if you want to go out for a swim, you are eaten alive! Our room smelled like someone smoked in it even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Our curtain had holes in them. Just not what I was expecting.

Close to family and beach
We enjoyed our son-in-law's retirement from the marines and had a fantastic time playing on the beach with our grandchildren.

"Terrific Location and Hotel"
Our trip to Topsail Island, NC was for a family wedding and some sightseeing. The hotel location was less than 3 miles from the wedding and relatively close to Surf City, NC. The hotel personnel were inviting and helpful. The hotel was CLEAN. The various selections at breakfast satisfied everyone in our party. Thanks for adding to the wonderful time we had in that part of the country.
