Wedding at beach
We were in town for a wedding and stayed at the Econolodge. I did like the fact that they had free wi-fi, I did need it. The room was nice, clean, and the bathroom was much larger than expected. I thought the room listing showed a microwave in the room, that was a little disappointing. Other wise, nice place to stay.

The bad and the really bad
The hotel look very nice on the outside, but when I got to see my room...oh my.I try to look at the tv,what a mess. You only could watch a fews channel. The bed..plese call for you..more pillows and blanket.

The Good, THe Bad and the Ugly
The mattress on the bed was horrible, it was not comfortable to sleep on and the pillows were flat.Room was very small but was clean. Some of the channels on the Television were snowy.Room needs to have a coffee pot so we don't have to go downstairs.Walls are paper thin and the noise of slamming doors and running in the hall kept us awake. Will not stay there again.

Microtel Shallotte
Not Bad, We came down for a fishing trip and were looking for a decent place to sleep..I was very satisfied by the reception upon arival and the room accomadations, It is what it is, a decent place to sleep..I would stay away from the huddle house not easy to mess up breakfast but they found a way...

Stay on the main drag and all our shopping and eating choices are about three miles down the road..
