Good place to stop off 95
I have stayed here twice and had good experiences both times. For the price, it is an excellent value and I will stay there again. The hotel is close to (but not right off) 95. The hotel is generally clean and modern and the staff is pleasant. Three negatives - the walls are thin so if you have noisy neighbors, you will hear them. Also, it is not very close to a gas station or a fast food place, which is a hassle for 95 travelers. Finally, no free breakfast.

Make a left at the light out of the parking lot and left at the next light for gas and Hardee's.

Hotel Stay
the ac unit sound like a helicopter was landing out the window, hot water had to run for about 15 minutes before you could get any hot water and even the hotel maintenance gave me that tip, refrigerator not working and wireless inter net super slow.

Great overnight stopover
Stopped for a quick overnight as we drove family back home to Philly in advance of Hurricane Irene. We arrived around midnight and appreciated the staff setting up a pack and play for our youngest. We used the pool and hot tub the next morning and dad used the fitness center. Amenities were great. Breakfast was marginal although the servers were nice.

VERY NICE HOTEL
VERY CLEAN AND REASONABLE. LOVED THE FRIENDLY ATTITUDES. THEY MADE YOU FEEL VERY WELCOME. WOULD STAY HERE WHEN TRAVELING THROUGH ROCKY MOUNT ALWAYS.

Doubletree Rocks!!!
I went to Rocky Mt. to visit a gravely ill college roommate and by mistake booked the incorrect arrival date. [...]The hotel was so clean and fresh and easy to find. The help with the refund really ROCKS!!!

Pleasantly Surprised
Visited Rocky Mount for a weekend for a wedding, and many of the guests stayed at another hotel across the highway and paid more. I saved money by staying at the Double Tree, and I thought the hotel was just as nice. Despite being so close to the highway (which all of the hotels in this area are), we had no noise in our room. The bed was amazingly comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff was very friendly. They even called up to the room about 30 minutes after we checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. We also enjoyed the LG flat-screen TV, fridge, and microwave in the room. Hotel has a pool and fitness center that looked nice, though we did not use.

Comfortable beds, clean and wi-fi acces
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel gave away free toiletries if something forgotten which is very nice. Great and easy access wi-fi and the restaurant which was attached to the hotel was great! 2nd time at a Double Tree motel and they are a top rated chain. Will always be my first choice even if I have to pay a lil extra

Pet Owners Beware
The staff were very friendly, especially when they explained to me that [...]that there would be a 50 dollar fee for staying with a pet. [...] The hotel itself was fine--fairly unremarkable, actually. But beware the pet fee[...]

Short walk from hotel
The Texas Steakhouse that's attached to the hotel is very convenient. Don't bother with having the hotel deliver to your room. Save a couple of bucks by taking the one-minute, indoor walk to the restaurant. Note that they tend to massively oversalt their food.

Clean Hotel and friendly staff
This hotel will be our new stop when traveling from Florida back home to Pennsylvania. It was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant was convenient and the food was good.
