Not terrible for what you pay
The hotel wasn't as clean as we hoped but was one of the cheapest in the area so we couldn't expect much. The mattresses were filthy and completely stained. Walls were paper thin so any noices outside were heard.

not so great
booked a non smoking room and smelled like the Winston-Salem cigarette plant. did get a better room on the third floor the next day. then the tornado struck(literally)power out until next morning. this was not hotels fault but, a backup generator could eliminate guest inconvenience. the shower head would not adjust, so only hard jets were spraying and the head came apart.

Nice location, great friendly staff
Very impressed with location and staff. 5 minutes from downtown, next to a main shopping road Capital Blvd, easy to find. I needed a place to stay with a bed where I can sleep for a few nights. Safe area. The swimming-pool and breakfeast was a plus. Nice and clean, service was great. I will go back again.

Pretty Good Value
Decent room and good, convenient location for local business meetings. The only thing I found wanting was the Continental Breakfast. It consisted of few items and little variety. The barest effort would have made a great improvement in the appeal and freshness of the fare offered.
