Very nice hotel

We live only about 25 mins from this hotel but stayed here to celebrate my husbands birthday woth friends. We went to the north hills area for shopping, then to a great dinner followed by drinks at another establishment. We did not want to drive home so This hotel is right in the middle of a great area. Great sleeping arrangements and a good breakfast in the morning. There is a movie theather and bowling in this area as well. The check in process was easy and all the staff were very helpful and kind.

Raleigh North Hils Renissance

The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. I ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent. The hotel is located in the North Hills shopping center. There is easy access to shops and restaurants. There is even a movie theater. The hotel has an agreement with the fitness club next door that allows guests to use the facilities for free. They were also excellent.

Perfect one night get away

I ended up splurging on this hotel and it was definitely worth the price. It was just a quick trip one night get away trip for me and my husband. Location was great - can walk to plenty of shops, restaurants, spa, and movie theater. Also, just a short 10 minute drive to downtown Raleigh. When we checked in our room wasn't quite ready so they held our bags and let us have a free drink at the bar because we had to wait. Which we enjoyed and we only had to wait 15 minutes to get in our room. We thought it was nice of them to compensate us for just a 15 minute wait when some hotels would never do that. Would highly recommend staying here anytime you are in Raleigh, NC.

Good location but be prepared for the noise

I recently stayed at this hotel over Memorial Weekend. The hotel has great location lite really right outside the doors are an outdoor mall and several good restaurants. Rooms are good size and appear to be well maintained (beds too soft for my liking for a Bach ache from them). Staff was friendly and accommodated my request to move from first room as my neighbors were very loud so much so you could hear them as I walked to my room down the hall. Walls are thin and even with earplugs in at night I was awoken late night by people talking loudly etc. I did to expect this kind of crowd at a renaissance hotel (maybe it was the holiday wknd). Club access was great nice breakfast and attendants. Overall ors a good hotel it was really the annoying loud guests that made it not so great.

Staycation

We just wanted a grown up get away for the evening. This was not our first time at the Renaissance and it was just as we remembered. Great staff, georgeous facility with an excellent location. We were given complimentary access to the concierge lounge for evening hoes divers and a full breakfast the next morning. The room was spotless and we can't image a more cozy and comfortable bed. Made it hard to leave the next morning. A great special get away place. A little pricey for regular visits but a wonderful experience.

Nice hotel

In a great location, staff could be a little more friendly. The bartender was entertaining. We didn't get the room we wanted but it was still nice. A little pricey for what you get and you still have to pay for internet!!

Great Stay

We had a fantastic experience. My husband and I stayed here over Christmas last year, and it was a great location. The movie theater was right next door, and that's where we spent Christmas - we were on vacation. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants around, and the amenities at the hotel were great. Very clean, nice pool and spa, and spotless room. Perfect!

North Hills in Raleigh--the Renaissance Hotel

I have just spent a weekend visiting my family in Raleigh, where, because my mother has been placed in a nursing home and her house in Country Club Hills rented to a young family, I was forced to stay in a hotel. It was a first for me, but, because it was so comfortable and the people so nice, I'd love to return and just enjoy a vacation there. -jdt

Dining tip: In Hotel

Mia Francesca, an Italian restaurant in the hotel is superb--and this is coming from a man who lives in Boston where the North End abounds in wonderful Italian restaurants.
