Friendly Staff, Sizeable Room

My husband, 6 y.o., and I stayed here just this past weekend to attend the NC State football game. We stayed for two nights. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was decently predictable, and our room was larger than I had anticipated for a 2 queen bed room with a small balcony. We were at the very back of the hotel which was nice and quiet. Saw one person going into another room the whole time we were there. Location is walking distance to Carter Finley Stadium, PNC Arena, and probably the fair grounds (although we drove there). The pool was outside but contained in the middle of the hotel in a nice court yard. Very private and didn't have to see the parking lot and comings and goings of everyone.

Shopping tip: Long walk from hotel

If you're into shopping go to the HUGE Flea Market at the State Fair Grounds. It was really neat to look around!

Great for NCSU visit

This is a great location if you are visiting the NCSU campus- only minutes away and you can avoid the busy interstate. The front desk staff and the server at the continental breakfast were both very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and very comfortable.

Great Location

Stayed here after visiting the North Carolina Museum of Art and for a day of shopping. The hotel is in a great location and close to most Raleigh areas. The room was very clean, beds comfortable, and the hotel was nicely decorated. There is a restaurant/bar attached which looked nice, but I did not go to either. They also gave tickets for their breakfast, however, I didn't make it to that either! It was a little pricey, but for the location, comfort, and cleanliness, it was worth it. I would stay here again.

Concert Goers

In town for the Springteen concert we wanted to stay near the PNC Arena. We were able to walk to the arena and save the $20 parking fee. The hotel was clean and the employees very friendly and helpful. We even ate at their restaurant and it was very good. The breakfast offered the next morning was great! I really was not expecting much but all of us were pleasantly surprised. Definitely would stay here again.

Overall Good Stay

Hotel is in a great location if attending an event at PNC arena, which is a short half mile walk away. Stayed in a standard room with one king bed - very clean and comfortable. Overall decor and amenities are a bit out dated. But for the price this was a great stay.

Don't pay for a cab to PNC. It's a quick 15-20 minute walk right down the road.

convenient location

Chose this Ramada for its convenient location for a weekend event held at the Kerr Scott Building, NC State Fairgrounds. We found the Raleigh Ramada welcoming, with friendly helpful staff and just the right spot to lay our heads after a long day. Breakfast was wonderful and so was the coffee! Certainly will remember this for any future trips to this area!
