SOFTBALL AUNT
Well the bed was comfortable
I was there for a softball tournament. Have been on a lot of these this summer and this was the most striped down hotel with no firdge or microwave. Nothing to set your suite case on. A lot of space. Breakfast: no one to help you out. No sausage biscuts and no one to ask. Yogart was out of date BY 2 WEEKS and no one to tell. Smelled the milk and it was ok. Some items were in containers that were deep and up high up.

Needs improvement
Breakfast needs more attention,they was out of milk both mornings, waffel mix was out amd when the staff was told they act like it was a problem for them to take care of the problem. Our room was a no smoking room but you could smell the cigerette smoke in the pillows and bedcovers. The hall smelled of cigerette smoke and needs a good cleaning to get the smell out. The smoke caused me to have breathing problems. The carpet in the room needed cleaning it have stains on it. The bathroom needed work you had to flush the commade two times in order for it to work. The caulking around the shower was out and needed replaced. The staff cut on the air in our room and it was like a icebox when we came in at night. Staff was not friendly.

Staff was friendly but smell was awful
Other than the awful smell which seemed to be everywhere except the lobby, the stay was AVERAGE - nothing special about the hotel itself nor the rooms. On a positive note, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Though I wouldn't recommend friends or family to stay here, I might stay here again as it was cheap and convenient for what we had planned in Raleigh (but I'd bring a noseplug!!)

Weekend getaway
Had a very good time. Stayed in a flea bag on my last trip for almost the same price. This is not that place. Good price and clean room and very nice service. Not the most up to date decoration's but that is not important too me. It was CLEAN that is what counts to me. Good breakfast
