La Quinta Inn & Suites Raleigh Durham Airport S

Great value, clean, served a nice breakfast that was included that started early enough to accommodate anyone's early morning needs. Near the airport, only mins away which let me sleep in later and still make an early flight. Room was quiet and bed very VERY comfortable! Wireless internet included with NO hoops to jump through to get on it. I would not look any where else to stay if I go back. While room was average in Amenities (average not meaning bad) it was awesome for the low price! Doesn't really get better value for what you got.

I have stayed here at least 4 times in the past two years and have always had good experiences. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The hotel is only a mile or so from the airport but you don't hear much air traffic noise. Overall, it's a good place to stay, especially for the value. Other nearby hotels cost an average of $120 per night (not including taxes!). I've never paid more than $75 which included taxes. Overall, I give LaQuinta a "thumbs up!"

The hotel was adequate for meeting my needs at the time. I was put into the dingier of the 2 buildings. It's good to stay there because it's convenient to get to the airport which is about 1.5 miles away. Also, there are several places to eat nearby. I paid about $73 for one night and feel that it was worth about $45. The staff was very friendly though.

The only complaint is that walking/standing barefeet in front of the sink the floor was sticky. Needs a good pinesol scrub.

We stayed 3 nights, and by-and-large, it was fine. After our first night we were in and out of the room in the morning, and left the do-not-disturb sign on the door when we were in it. We missed room service. When we left in the afternoon for the rest of the day I asked for room service to come while we were gone, but THEY were gone already. When we returned I had to pick up fresh towels, coffee, trash bags etc. at the desk, and take care of ourselves. No really big deal, but disappointing. Also the pool was kinda green, but we used it the 1st day, anyhow. We saw someone cleaning it the last day we were there. The 'business center' was only a computer - no privacy and no printer that I saw. The air traffic seemed to stop at night, and wasn't too loud any how. We'd use this hotel again.

It's clear there are two La Quintas. The luxurious-looking one we stopped at first told us to go across the street to the second one, which was a yellow dormitory-like building. Everything was OK, the price was right for an overnight stay before a shuttle trip to the airport, the breakfast was good and started at 4:30 conveniently for us, the staff were good, but we kept looking out the window at the posh La Quinta, wishing we were there.

The hotel was a place to sleep before we were going to fly out the next day. Based on my stay at the La Quinta off of Westport in Raleigh I expected way more. Would not book this hotel again.
