Repeated satisfaction

I have stayed at this hotel twice. Both times it was on the third floor and a different room. Both times Ihave been pleased with the swivel television stand, work desk and general cleanliness to rooms. I was impressed the last time I stayed because the room was directly across from the elevator. I thought I was going to hear the elevator door constantly opening and people talking but I did not hear anything to intere with sleeping. Good value.

enjoyable

I was not expecting the room to be as big as it was, The kitchen was nice with a long table and the television was on a swivel so if you want to sit on the couch or lay on the bed you can turn to the television so you can see it. The bathroom was not extravagant but clean with good water pressure. The view from the third floor was of the courtyard and the windows good be easily opened and closed to allow the room to air out. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Trip to Raleigh for Concert

Front desk person not very friendly and couldn't get us a room until 4PM... rooms were very nice.. you get alot for your money with a full kitchen, microwave, etc. It is basically a suite for a low cost. Only downside was the clientelle... very noisy people accross from us with their kids running through the halls. Would try it again though.

Homewood Suites Raleigh

The facilities were fine, but the hotel smelled. It was likely because it serves as a long-term residence which allows the smells of cooking and its poor ventalation. In addition, I didn't like their lack of room service if you stayed less than 7 days.

Okay

For the price we got a suite for a hotel price. It was run down on the inside. However, the night manager was totally awesome. Finding us a pizza place, switching our rooms, extra towels. The phone did not work, light switch panel broken, and alarm clock not plugged in.

Bad Experience

Just want to let you know that my two nights at the Homestead were not a great experience. The first night the toilet ran all night, the second night was a smoking room that smelled really bad and had a hair piece stuck under the wheel of a chair (gross!), the new room on the second night was better, but someone (who worked there) opened the door at 3:30 in the morning scaring the heck out of me. Luckily I was able to go back to sleep and the owner commented on it and offered a better deal next time I'm in Raleigh. I didn't pay attention to the deal because I don't plan on ever staying there again.
