I went to Raleigh for the first time, and what a beautiful place, beautiful people. I went to see my girlfriend and she showed me many place to see. The hotel was good location and staff was awsome. I had called previously to see if they could turn on the air conditioner and my room was nice and cool. Thanks for everything holiday inn.

Worst Hotel we have ever had

When we checked in on Wednesday, there were no washclothes, and the bathroom floor was not really clean. The next day the bed was made, but the room had not been cleaned. Friday a group of cheerleaders were staying on our floor and their chaperons made no effort to quiet them after we complained at 11:40 p.m. Security was supposed to check on the situation, but no one came to check. Dirty sheets had not been changed. Saturday a large dog was barking at night and no one entered our room all day, even to make the bed or give us a suppy of coffee, towels, etc. No one could even bring them up to us because only one person was working at the desk and couldn't leave. Dirty sheets again, also. Room was so dusty for the first two days that when an item was laid on the table the dust flew.

[...]has the wrong address for the Hotel. The Old Holiday Inn (which matches the address) is being torn down. The GPS takes you to the Old Hotel. The new hotel which you had to search for a bit was very nice once I found it.

Service stinks

We stayed there during the winter storm in Raleigh and the power went out and they did not clean our room... I had to stay there an extra night because of my plane being cancelled and they never offered any comps for the fact an entire day I was unable to use the room.... Also, they didnt clean our room for a 2nd night..

Interesting

The customer service is amazing. However, the horrible, pungent smell in the hallways and room was unbearable. The smell was dank and as if a flood had recently occurred. I stayed in the hotel for less than the time I was supposed to because of the smell. Overall, the hotel room did not have that home-away-from home feeling.

The hotel is literally half a block from Crabtree Mall. I loved visiting the mall because it reminded me of the malls near my area with the southern taste. Downstairs from the hotel is a steak house. I didn't have the chance to try it, but whomever chooses to stay at this particular hotel should at least give the restaurant a try =)

Hotel Sucks

It was far from what we expected although we were staying in an executive suite... There was no refrigerator when we arrive there... The Internet access wasnt secure that my husband were not able to use it for some reasons, it should be secured though... He lost our wedding ring too... It was just there for 3 days on the sink but when we get back to the hotel for our last night.. It was gone!

A Decent Value For The Price

Attended the 90th birtday celebration of a family member in the Raleigh area. The Holiday Inn was a short drive to several locations where events were taking place. It is directly across the street from Crabtree Mall, a major shopping venue, near the expressway, and a quick 10-12 minute trip from the Raleigh Airport. The hotel was tidy, and the room I stayed in was clean and quiet. The only difficulity, (even with my GPS) was finding the main entrance to the hotel, due to shrubs blocking the view. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a clean hotel, with a 3 to 4 day max stay in mind.

Close to mall and crabtree shopping area

I enjoyed my business stay at the Crabtree Valley Holiday Inn. I will definitely return when I visit Raleigh N. Carolina. The staff are very warm and friendly they go out of their way to please you. One morning I could not get on the Internet and was invited to use the internet in the office. I did have a few little problems but I still enjoyed my stay and the location can't be beat, they are close to the airport and mall.
