My experience at the Fairfield Inn
Quick check-in and check-out and good continential breakfast. Hotel only supplied shampoo and conditioner. The hot water ran out after 2 showers. My daughter and I took luke warm showers. Overall, the experience was average.

Beware when traveling with a pet!
I made reservations for my son and daughter in law who travel with a puppy. I called the local hotel number (a non local operator answered and asked which property I was calling about) to make sure it was pet friendly as indicated. She said it was. Well...it is, BUT it is not indicated ANYWHERE that an additional $75 is assessed!!! That is more than the nightly rate for humans! This was so frustrating it is difficult to make any other comment with a good perspective.

Nice staff & Very Clean
Right around the corner from Crabtree Mall in a quiet location. The beds were comfy and the restroom and shower were spotless. We will definately stay again. Good rest for the money!

Birthday weekend gone wrong
Went to Raleigh to celebrate birthday weekend. Arrived to hotel with no problems checking in. After check in, I chose to park by entrance closest to my room. The hallways smelled molded/mildewed. After getting to my room I attempted to take a shower, while doing so the water was pooling in the tub and barely seemed like it was draining. After contacting the fron desk about the shower they did move my room promptly. The second room was great that night, however the room was located right next to the janitors closet where I heard every movement housekeeping made (it was very noisy. During the morning of my check out the fire alarms went off twice for approximately 5 minutes a piece. The first was around 0900 and the second 45 minutes later. I was very disappointed in my stay loved the location but that's about it.

simple pleasures
overall worth the money 1st rm had a smell, but staff took care and gave me another one other than that a very restful and quiet stay

A nice clean and inexpensive place
This was a nice little hotel with good and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. If you are looking for first class aminities this is not the place for you but if you are looking for a nice comfortable place to park your bags and to go to sleep after you have gone exploring the town or visiting with friends, without busting your budget, this is a good place. I gave it four stars because it is just as it was advertised a good place to spend the night (or a couple). Well that and any place that has a free breakfast bar with a good waffle maker with real batter (good batter too) gets a big check mark in my book.

Awesome Weekend with my Wife!
My wife and I had a wonderful and restful weekend. The hotel was clean and the staff was very cordial. We would definitely stay here again!
