Not what I expected
This hotel was not what I expected for costing $100 and being in the center of downtown Raleigh. Tiny room... Thin walls. Bed was uncomfortable. I will choose differently next time.

Not bad, definitely not great
I was under the impression that this hotel would be closer to the heart of downtown Raleigh. Sure, it's a quick cab ride, but I was hoping to do more walking, and things were just far enough out of the way to make them uncomfortable. The room was clean enough, but exposed cords and wires from all of the lamps and appliances really detracted from the neutrality of everything else. As for the "City View", I hope you like seeing parking garages and vacant lots. It wasn't terrible, but I'll probably choose a different hotel the next time I'm in Raleigh.

location good for downtown
The hotel is under construction so hammers pounding all day till 6:00 pm. Our room was old and filthy. May stay there after July when it becomes a different hotel chain. Could not get out of room asit was prepaid.

Overnight business/pleasure
Very convenient to anywhere in downtown Raleigh. Very neat hotel with the 360 degree view from the upstairs lounge. Staff was nice but when asked for extra pillows or bedding they didn't have any?

Great Downtown location
This is somewhat a run of the mill hotel, but at a great location, and is a good alternative to the few other downtown locations which are twice the price. Room was clean and comfortable, free parking, and some great restaurants and pubs nearby.

OK, but
Experience at hotel was pretty good; however, the hotel would not give me a receipt since I paid through third party booking and the third party does not give a receipt which shows all charges and payments as required by my employer.
