Candlewood Suites RALEIGH-CARY

The room was average, the pillows were old and broken down and we did not have power for about 5 hours. We were running from Hurricane Irene and did not want to be in our house without power, therefore we paid for a room without power 2.5 hours away.

The lady at the front desk was great! I was on a rush trip and she put me in a quiet area, though it looks like all was quiet. The room was comfortable and clean, 2 burner stove, full fridge, full microwave, dishwasher, sink, and even a garbage disposer. Furnishings were simple, and clean. They have a pantry you can get simple meals from if you want to make them in room, nice gym. Just clean and simple. Great for budget business travel, not enough to do for kids. clean and quiet. thanks

Quiet and clean, a little hard to find. It sits down a hill hidden by trees.

Not a bad place to stay, room was very quite, room was clean except for the funky smell it had, bed sleep good and was clean, bathroom was clean, towels etc clean also, [...]

Creepy people were hanging around all day. Several people just proped their doors open and commented on anybody that walked by.[...]There is a bullet proof glass between you and the clerk....I checked out and went somewhere else.[...]

My husband and I went for just one night and I always search the web for good prices. I feel I can put up with just about anything for one night. But when I read all that this places offered for the price, I had to try it. It is GREAT! Very quiet; they said they were full and even had some dogs staying and we didn't hear a thing. Full kitchen was great even though we weren't there long enough to use it. Even had cookware and utensils! Also had a VCR/DVD player and free usage of movies. Neatness thing was their cupboard. They didn't offer continental breakfast, but they had "store" with all types of food that you could buy, and it was on an honor system. What a concept in today's world! The only thing that I didn't like was the pillows; they were a little too soft and I forgot to bring my own from home like I usually do. I cannot say enough good things about this place. One more thing, slightly negative - there is not a sign telling you where to turn off of the main road. I had made reservations for a friend to stay the same place the night before and she told me where to turn. GPS probably would have taken me right to it if I had been paying close attention to it. It's down a hill among lots of trees. It's beautiful and the staff was were nice. We're going back to that area next month and will definitely stay there!

The stay was nice,but when we returned for the evening there was no vending machines or ice where you could use.

A very nice place. Clean and fresh..very comfortable too. I would go back there for sure. My wife had forgotten her cell charger and the lady at the front desk gave her one...when I tried to give it back she said just keep it..I have plenty! So nice...

Excellent. I did not know anything about the hotel prior to my stay. It looked great on-line and the cost and location was excellent for the Head Start non-profit budget and the closeness to the Hope Community Church (where I had a business meeting)which was also located on Buck Jones Rd. Still amazed at the jewel the Candlewood Suites turned out to be-low cost, clean, friendly staff, cupboard great (I had forgotten to pack a toothbrush, tooth paste and deodorant-the well stocked cupboard was a lifesaver! It also provided me with a very quick, healthy, convenient breakfast. I did not utilize the pool, cannot comment on it.

The hotel is in a very nice location, well lit area, room are very,very clean and well mantain. The hotel is very close to the shopping center and malls. I would recommed this hotel to all my family and friends.
