Great if you're not in the room often
This is a great deal for people not looking to spend a lot of time in the room. The hotel is old and needs some major renovations. However, it's in a great location. Would stay here again if the price was right.

Okay for now
The hotel was okay but need to be cleaned better. The dusting of the room seem to never happen. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The bathroom ceil is coming apart and the baseboards are filthy. The air conditioning is so loud that I could hardly sleep. The carpet in the hallways in the hotel were dirty looking. In addtion, this was a hotel for pets. I will never stay at a hotel for pets again. At times I could hear the dog barking during the night. I thought that the dogs were supposed to stay on certain floors but not at this hotel. All in all the stay was just okay but I would not recommend this hotel.

comfort inn south oceanfront
We were told that the only available room as a smoking room on the street side. They had no interest in helping upgrade the room. They said I had already been charged of this room [...] In other words, Tough Stuff!!

good get away
the room was clean and neat. the only complaint was there were not enough trollies when you needed them. the sunrise breakfast was great and the view from the room was wonderful.

Very Convenient Beachfront location
The hotel was perfectly located right on the beach and staying in Nags Head, centrally located on the OuterBanks made it very convenient to visit both the north and south parts.

Okay place
The rooms were okay, carpets were dirty. Room looked like it was falling apart. Elevators were slow. The pool is a small rectangle nothing exciting. There is no whirlpool and there is no beach access from the hotel, you have to use the public access ramp next door.
