A convenient oasis in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area
The La Quinta Inn & Suites Raleigh Durham International Airport is less than a mile southwest of the main airport terminal -- a trip made even easier aboard the free shuttle. The affordable hotel is convenient for business and pleasure travelers, with easy access to the area's Research Triangle Park, as well as all of the downtown dining and entertainment venues of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. There are good choices of restaurants near by. Texas steak House , crackle barrel and Indian Cuisine Haveli all were are at walking distance.

Not quite all business
I had trouble accessing the wifi provided, and although the brochure said they provided wifi and wired connection, there was no wired connection in my room. The wifi issue may be local to that room as I've stayed in a different room and did not have the problem. When mentioned they said they would have maintenance look at it, but it prevented me from doing some work I wanted to accomplish that evening. Otherwise the hotel check-in was efficient and complimentary breakfast fine. Bathroom cleanliness was not up to usual standard. I may not book there again simply because I want to have internet access on business trips.

Nice facility
We enjoyed our stay. The layout of the room was nice and the central courtyard was an added bonus. Next time we have a chance to travel, we are going to try to book at a LaQuinta Inn.

Overall hotel was very nice, clean and great staff. Only thing I was disappointed in was the breakfast, just cold ceral, yogart, waffles. Coffee was tasteless.
