Can't do enough to help the traveler
From the time I walked into the hotel until the time I left, the staff could not do enough to make my stay pleasant. They all were professional, courteous and friendly. The room was immaculate. The breakfast and Wed nite pizza was an added bonus. I will stay there again.

Short walk from hotel
The Texas Steakhouse just a short walk away was awesome. Food excellent and the staff could not do enough to make my visit there most enjoyable.

Great Stay and Departure
We live 2 hours from RDU and had a red eye flight out the next morning. Staying the night before and able to park and ride with the shuttle limited all the problems of early morning flight by boomer folks. The shuttle quickly returned us to our vehicle when we returned.

In Hotel
everything you need is right there in the hotel...very convenient for late arrivals and early morning flights...no time wasted. Shuttle driver took me to drop off a rental car right at check-in time..a real time saver the next morning.

Met our needs PERFECTLY!
Had to catch an early flight out of RDU, and had to drive for two hours to get there, after a week visiting kids and grandkids. We arrived three hours after check-in time, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, given that the hotel is so close to the runway approaches at RDU. We enjoyed a tasty, quick breakfast early the next morning from a good selection of foods and beverages. Our first stay at Holiday Inn Express, but definitely the first place we will look for on our next visit to North Carolina!

Short drive from hotel
Bad experiences at the end of our two previous vacations cast a shadow over our memories of both trips. Sometimes things just happen, but there's no excuse for filthy bedding and unreliable airport shuttles. Be sure you can count on the establishments you're dealing with.

Don't think I would stay here again
After I checked in I went to my room and found it to be extremely hot; over 90 degrees in the room. The heat unit was cranked up to high and running full blast. Consequently, I had to start running the A/C even though it was in the 20s outside. In the morning I turned on the water to take a shower and got a face full of water and the bathroom floor got water all over, as the shower head was pointing outside the shower. I reported all of this to the person at the desk when I left and she said "Sorry".

Solid value for the money
I was travelling to Raleigh and had a late night at the airport so I decided to stay. The shuttle service was quite good, and my stay was uneventful. All was attended to nicely and the morning breakfast buffet was more than adequate if not extensive.

Very accommodating
Very nice customer service at this hotel: They picked me up at the airport when I arrived late at night, and then took me to my business destination the next morning rather than putting me in a cab.
